How about this one from Decathlon. £49.99

It looked quite solid in the shop, I don't think that it folds so it might suit someone with a bit more space.

Dunno about a Weyland-Yutani shirt, I've got a MAAS-NEOTEK one, they're petty rare, does that make me cool?

Not sure about cool but it goes well with your user name.

How about a set of these or these

Buy Fenwiks

Muck Off 5 £/l
Hope Sh1t Shifter 5 £/l
Fenwiks .9 £/l

If your go to a shop that doesn't sell Fenwicks tell them that you would rather buy Fenwicks as you object to spending 6 times as much on a smiler product. I don't think that Muck Off is 6 times better and if the other products are already diluted its bad for the environment.

Not to far at all, I tend to log and store most rides in Sport Tracks. I like to be able to look back at previous rides and routes.

I was looking for a link to the Symthson Journal that they produced for Rapha IRC it was £160, that is going to far.

There some (but not much) info here

I think that the problem with F&T must have been a combination of buying up the old Karrimor shops, moving their warehouse and then a period of rapid expansion. I think that they were quite slow in getting into web sales as well but I could be wrong.

I could have simply been a case of the owners wanting to move on when the MD was ready to retire.

Its a shame as it used to be a fantastic place to work

DO you have astigmatism? This can limit the number of available lenses as the the range of correction for daily Torics is much smaller than monthly/fortnightly lenses.

I am assuming the manhole was only built for pedestrian traffic and not upgraded when the use of land was changed (i.e car traffic)?

If you can find the old cover photograph it and check the rating falkirk-mark is correct to suggest that it may have not been up to the job. If you can't find the old cover ask for the original recipt.

Now might be a good time to check if you have legal cover on your insurance, phone them on Monday and see what they say with regard to how you are covered for third party liability. I don't see this as being any different from your wall falling over and damaging a neighbours car.

Have you discussed this with whoever is being asked to meet the other third of the costs?

At the end of the day you have to live next door to these people do you want a war?

-1 for Merlin

I've had a few problems with a 717 on Hope XC from them although to be fair I've never heard of/met anyone else who has had a smiler problem.

Select "Start windows normally" and let us know if it happers again. Normally means that you did not get a clean shutdown and nothing to worry about.

And another thing – Fly tipping; I saw some stuff today so far from a road that it must have been more effort that going to a tip and paying land fill tax.

I've been knocked of by a sheep, it jumped out in front of me and I somersaulted over it. Sounds like a common occurrence.

On a night ride I caught a guy giving someone a BJ in a car. I was coming down a slight hill so must have seemed like I was shining a torch into their car.

Today it was a dog fight. I rode past a couple with a small Terrier and a few seconds later a Bull Terrier attacked it. The girl was screaming so loudly I thought that she had been attacked so I went back to find out what was happening.

I'll second Daily Contact Lenses. I have some boylle [sic] glasses with an inner prescription lense, the problem is that the inner lense fogs up and it is had to clean trail side. You also suffer if you want to take you glasses of on assents or under tree cover.

You can get a free trial (5 pairs) of contacts from most places if you have a consultation. After that lenses are about £50 for 30 pairs.

Have a look at Ben Goldacre's Blog.

I think that the answer is that Pharmaceutical companies are fixing the results of (some) testes and Alternative Practitioners are misleading and relay on spurious results.

Now where did I put my tin foil hat.

righty,

Thanks for having a look but check out the flight times, they are all via Brussels of Gatwick. There is one on there where the return journey is 15 hours :!:

I can drive to Birmingham and still get there faster than that!

It cost £66 to have my 305 replaced after it went through the washing machine. Garmin sent me a refurbished unit within a week.

You can phone them – there support is very good.

Alternately as the unit appears to be glued together you could try putting it somewhere warm to see if the glue melts and then replacing the battery yourself before resealing with a heated glue gun.

The battery is attached to the based and the pcb is on the top.

Or better still a custom version where the 'Side Car' is in front

I think it shows that if you were to strap a Mojo to a Blur you would get nearly the same Instantaneous Ratio as a Fuel.

To be honest I'm not sure how useful this fact is.

I strongly recommend brupaks they do a range of 20l kits which are the size that most other companies do but they also do smaller 10l kits under the BruBox brand (Scroll down for a list of beers). The BruBox kits are intended for brewing in their polythene cube 'kit' but you can make the kit using a normal fermentation bucket which is what I'd recomend as a first go if you haven't made home brew before.

The most important part of the process is cleaning and sterilization

Bear in mind that you will come across two kinds of fake goods:

Run On, Third Shift or Ghost Shift Where a manufacture (or their staff) who Orbit subcontracts production to makes more of the products that required and sells on the excess through a gray channel. This may include slight seconds and the substitution of lower quality parts and materials, several people have mentioned missing sears and not using stainless bearings.

Counterfeit Goods bearing the manufacturers mark but with no resemblance to the originals. The cheapest headset at chain reaction is £10 so there is a profit to be made in re-branding them and setting them at £25.

As to why counterfeit bike parts and I'm speculating here but if you sell counterfeit UGG boots to 1000s of people sooner or later someone is going to take in interest bike parts, who knows.

I'd try phoning to local council planning department and asking if they have a record of the planning permission.

You could also ask the current owners for any relevant information that they may have received when they bought the house.

What sort of survey dis you get a Home Buyers or Structural Survey (Building Survey)? You may need to commission a survey from a Structural Engineer to get an assessment of what remedial work is required and how much it will cost. You can then use this as part of your negotiations on price.

If you find out the that work was done by a previous owner who liked DIY walk away.

Rights and wrongs of the age of criminal consent aside what seems most worrying is that every report refers to their lack of remorse for their actions.

A psychiatrist told the judge who sentenced the boys that the younger brother had shown no remorse for what he did or empathy towards the boys he attacked.

This alone means that they have to be separated from the rest of society until they develop a sense of empathy/social responsibility/compassion for others.

Ultimately it is the down to their parents, the environment they were raised in and the failure of the state to protect them

I think you are right to say that a change of business model is needed for music but I'm not so sure how it will work for software.

I think that the games developers will switch to more online content in the style of World of Warcraft and Second Life.

For other types of software I've noticed a trend towards free software but paid support.

It may not be theft but it's very close to it. I don't think your analogy is correct as although you own the car you didn't design it (mine was poor as well). Do you considerer intellectual property not to be property? Its difficult because while you are correct to say that in copying you don't deprive the owner of their copy but you are depriving the creator of their revenue.

I should say I'm not really happy about switching from an owner the a rights holder, I can always sell CD but I can't do the same with an eBook or an MP3

How about I get a copy of the keys for your car and drive it around while you are still at work. I'll use your petrol but will always return it before 5:30.

I guess you will not mind as I haven't stolen the car and you can still use it the rest of the time?

If the delay is between the first and subsequent characters appearing you can change the Character Repeat by opening the Control Panel Selecting Hardware and Sound > Keyboard and adjusting the Character Repeat Sliders.

You may want to be careful with that app/link as it lets anyone see where you live with an alarming degree of accuracy.
