    I think it depends on what you are selling, know the market.

    Do you really need three websites could you consolidate all you business on to one site rather than splitting traffic/marketing three ways?

    I’m currently in dispute with Evans\Altura\Zyro over a warranty replacement so I’ll reserve judgement for the time being.

    You are not the first to hate Visual Basic: Verity Stob.

    @mogrim

    If you want terse try Python:

    import re, urllib
    print re.sub(‘</p>’, ”, re.sub(‘
    |<p>|
    |
    ‘,’\n’, re.sub(‘No’, ‘\nNo’,
    urllib.URLopener().open(‘http://www.99-bottles-of-beer.net/lyrics.html&#8217;).read()[3516:16297])))

    BETD are a good company to deal with. Stuff arrives quickly and you can talk to them on the phone.

    One thing to watch out for is the £5 postage on all order so it can work out cheeper to get a few bits or order with a friend. That said they are one of the cheeper bearing suppliers even with postage after all free postage only means included in the origional price.

    It’s getting to the point when XTR is just for the sponsored riders.

    A few years ago I was into upgrading when parts wore out, now I look for stuff that’s going to last. £160 chainring will not make for a better ride but does represent a lot of petrol/food/oil etc.

    The racers need the edge from Ti/Carbon composite but stick it on my bike and it would be like putting alloy wheels on a chaved up Nova.

    I thought about it but got one of these when they where clearing out the demo stock. The Pariah looks like good value. I think from looking at the Canadian sie that the angles have changed for 2009 so that the head angle is now the same as the Blood.

    The blood looks good but it is very expensive for a bike that you would want to ride hard*.

    * I must stress that my own riding would be better characterised by the term wuss.

    You don’t like shedfire as a brand name? I kind of do, but right now it’s not in first place for the new brand name.

    It probably meets the two basic criteria of not being somebody’s trade mark and not being a rude work in another language.

    Under the circumstances I would have called Social Services. They will have an emergency response team who exist to deal with these problems.

    As for Essex being a ‘Pikey place’, its one of the most affluent counties in Britain! Ever been there??

    Can I counter that by reminding everyone that Southend is in Essex. For all those who have not had the pleasure of visiting it is like Blackpool without the charm.

    I got my wife a Tom Tom 450. I have also used works Tom Tom One. I think that the 540 has better spoken instructions for example it says take the 3rd exit onto the M25 rather than just saying take the third exit. It also gives better feedback on which lane to be in.

    Other Tom Toms may now have better instructions. Don’t get a Garmin

    My last pair were from spec4less. I would not go back to the high street other than for an eye test. Don’t know if they do Oakleys but phone. They did not do the model I wanted but were able to order them. Arrived in less than a week. About 50% of retail

    Current JSA is £60.50 for a single bloke.
    Current minimum wage for a 40hour week is over £200

    I think that the real trap is casual or agency work where you may only get a few hours a week. This can cause a lot of hassle signing on and off.

    Phone your local bearing shop, ask advice, then buy more cheaply on the net. Business as usual!

    I tried this today local baring supplier quoted twice the price of BETD[/url]

    I think that rather than a warehouse they have a circling fleet of aircraft. When you submit an order they parachute an operative, cunningly disused as a postman, to your doorstep.

    Delivery is not instantaneous due to the number of head injuries sustained from fling bike parts during the drop.
