Binners, you made the fatal mistake of taking us back to the Brewery via Chez Binners though,so no need to hunt down, :P anyhow, hope they go down well with everyone, they are nice warmed up, 10 secs in the microwave NO MORE.

It was indeed a Grand Day out, thanks to Mart and Graham and every-one else that kept me pointing in the right direction
Right then for anyone that wnts to try them, here’s the recipe for the Bhaji’s :P

230 ish g of cheese ( MEXICANA or MONTERY JACK with Chili’s )

    8 ish Spring Onions

    50g ish of chopped Walnuts

    200g ish of Plain Flour

2 teaspoons ish of Dijon mustard

    100g ish of softened Butter.

Preheat oven to 190c 375f or Gas mark 5

Grate the cheese into a bowl, thinly slice the onions, add to the cheese, add the Walnuts, then stir in the flour and Mustard.

Melt the butter and add to the bowl, mix well until blended together.

Get a piece about the size of a large egg, mould into a ball, flatten out to about 1/2 inch thick.

Bake for about 15 mins until golden brown.

Leave to cool on the baking tray for 2 or 3 mins.

scoff away transfer to a wire rack to cool properly.

    Enjoy :D

Ecky-Thumps close ^^^^ :D Binners, just excuse me one moment whilst I get the mind bleach out of the cupboard :P At least you’ll provide the post ride entertainment ,just be careful the pair of you don’t roll down the bank to far!
Not Lancs Bhaji’s this Sunday, they’ll be the Mexican version

Slightly off topic, but if anyone that’s going on Sunday can make use of some 35mm colour print film, I have 3 rolls of Kodacolor 200 24 exp and 5 rolls of Fujicolor superia 200 36 exp. They’ve been in the fridge since I bought them early last year. FOC first one to say can have them. I’ve not used my 35mm cameras for ages so there’s no point in keeping them if any-one can put them to good use.

I did mine no trouble. As said above, there is plenty of metal in there anyway, mine are still holding good after 4 years or so and being on 3 or 4 different bikes. ( f140’s btw )

Right oh Binners, I’ll try there first, not as far to carry the baked goodies after the ride then

Sharp sand works well, sprinkle some across the offending area, then use the stiff brush to sweep it up.Think of it as a bit like rubbing your Patio down with sandpaper :-)

7 of us had a “Pootle” today, there are muddy/swampy bits, but they can be avoided without too much ballache.
If you include Grestys Waste/Primrose Woods along with the main parts of Delamere it’s still possible now to get 16/17 miles in without using the same track twice.
As for a Pootle there, it would probably be wiser to give it a miss for a while until it starts to dry out a bit, that way you would be able to take in some of the more swampy areas that there are now, and also, the stuff that the harvesting machines have created might be closer to being rideable, think berms, little jumps/kickers.
They are do-able now in some places, but most are still like riding on a corrugated surface yet.
Sambob, was that a subtle hint :P

17 Feb will be Dalbeatie, 18 Feb not too sure yet and 19 Feb will be Mabie.
Only 2 or possibly 3 of us going you’re more than welcome to meet up with us :-)

I think 4m of tinsel might be a bit ambitious, the extra drag co-efficient will slow me down too much me-thinks 8) leaves more room for me dangly bits and bobs though
Sambob, you want a lift? 9 o clock by the chippy ?
