Stayed with Karen and Richard last year, highly recommended. Will be rebooking soon. Very comfortable and everything you need, bike storage, work stands , bike wash. And check out the beer shop in Bala, Stori.

Thanks for that moonsabaloon! We’ll see if Rik is around when we get there, but if all is quiet it sounds like a goer :D
We should also be back for Easter weekend.

Ah, Ok. Better get ready for a bit of swerving around then. Just a matter of trying to miss out as little as possible really.
    Thanks.

Thanks for that, looks like a mix it up ride then, and see what state the Blacks are in when we get to them.

Just fitted one of the new Mud Hugger rear guards, not had a chance to try it out yet though. Seems a nice sturdy bit of kit, less than 5 minutes to fit with no problems. :-)

Another vote for the Scott Voltage FR. Mine’s the FR30 2013. Totally standard ,only had it a couple of weeks, and only been to Antur Styniog with it, but it really was great fun to ride there. No problem pedalling from the drop off point up to the start of the Red/ Blue tracks. Price is £1600 ish, unless you get one on the cycle to work scheme!
