Yes thats right, UP.. The Numpty racing Snake that gave my ex-mate the route, told him it was a really good techy climb. Allegedly, him and his Racing Snake mate did it as a climb, then came down it to go back up and carry on with the route they gave us to do.
Needless to say, if any of us get to meet him , Bombers, wee and shoes will be armed and ready. :-)

My local ride as well, so I’m in. :-) .Just got back in from there, managed to get a extra ride in due to being on nightshift this week, and it’s as muddy in places as you can expect in Winter, got a nice layer of watered down peaty soil on the patio now, better go and finish off the cleaning of bike and stuff.
Do we need to bring cakes, or have a stop at Eddisbury Tea Room / Cider Farm? :P

Good choice ! I had the standard 36 Float R ‘s converted to Vanillas, it’s a vast improvement.
Enjoy your new toy, I’ve never had a bike that I can go down known trails so quick on. A proper grin inducer !!

This isn’t going to help, but I’ve had mine since August last year and it doesn’t happen. Not got a chain device either. Even a week in Verbier didn’t throw it. Sorry !

ski, thats as many in one go as I probably saw all last year. They have to be the prettiest bird some of us are lucky enough to get in our gardens.
You’ve done a good job of getting them to your feeders, I’m impressed and jealous ! 8O

Had an occasional glimpse of a couple of Goldfinches last year, not seen any this year though sadly. I just thought I would keep the camera handy whilst doing some gardening, the Blackbird will come as close as a couple of feet. If you bribe it with a few raisins .

Don’t bother with Chapel Gate. It’s more akin to a B road now. Keep your height and go left from Hollins Cross through the old gate posts. This will take you back towards Edale Station.

Getting on the 14:08 train to Shrewsbury for a ” Team Bonding ” session. Starting at the Nags Head about 14:50 and finishing off a good few hours later in the Three Fishes, then hopefully catching the right Train home, and it’s a Peaks Pootle on Sunday. :D
