That is very nice :P Just an idea, before you fit your chainset,I’ve got 4 zipties on the driveside chainstay just back from the BB. Then when your chain comes off the Granny ring it drops onto the zippies and doesn’t mangle your chainstay/paint.

Another lot won’t hurt, but the first dose should have sorted the job out. Sorry for the tardiness of my reply, but I’m at work now. :o

Pectolase will help, but it’s more effective if you put it in at the start of fermentation, no problem though! If you can, get some Potassium Sorbate to add in with the Campden Tablets, all these together should have the wine clearing off without the need for any finings of any sort.
    Good luck! :-)

@ Stoner, I wouldn’t bottle it yet, you’ll just end up with a load of sludge in the bottom of your bottles.
After you’ve put the crushed campden tablet in, swirl the jar around for a couple of minutes, you need to get rid of the excess gas.
Put your bung and airlock back in, then put it somewhere cool and dark.
Once every day take the bung out and swirl about again, after 3 or 4 days, leave it alone until you can see the sediment sinking down.
After a week or so, syphon (rack) off into a clean jar, repeat until clear.

    HTH.

7lb of Blackberries and Elderberries turned into 3gallons, approx 15/17 bottles of 13% wine. The other jar is just a generic Cabernet Sauvignon.

Those pics were taken after the Gardener had been out with the vacuum cleaner :P . That’s Neon Orange on the 160, but if you take a photo with flash, it comes out nothing like it. Very strange.

Sorry Binners ! That one was in close proximity to 4 Gallons of Blackberry and Elderberry wine, so I thought it best to eject it before it got onto any spilled drops out of the bucket. Didn’t fancy having a drunk spider wandering about looking for trouble

CG, thats right, but it’s a separate wood to Delamere, Primrose Wood. There’s an excellent Cafe about 100yds down the road from where those pics were taken.
There was also a very heavily pregnant Black and White ( Piebald ? ) Donkey, also very friendly. :D

@ CG,thanks for that, I’ve got another photo on my desktop of 2 younger ones the same colour, if you hang on a bit I’ll put them on here.
If you put Urchins Kitchen into Google/ Google earth, that’ll take you to about 500yds from the field these are in. Right off to desktop now!

Pics are back now  As for your brake hoses,I just replaced mine because I could, in Red :D and that’s how they were routed from new.Mine was a full bike on the Cycle to Work Scheme, I would think if you have no issues as yours are now don’t bother moving them, there’s less chance of them getting struck by rocks etc, just a thought !

I’ve just checked my rear shock, 90 psi, and I’m 12st ready to ride. So I would guess have a start at 100psi in it and see how that feels to you.
