Here is my freshly built up Classic. Pretty much all SLX with the exception of the ZEE rear mech. Pikes up front and Thomson finishing kit. Next thing to go on it will be my Gravity Dropper or a new Ks Lev.

Had a couple of rides out on it and it is a real good fun ride 😀

Yep I’ve had a Gravity dropper on my bike for a few years now they really are great.

Thinking of one for my latest hardtail build just to make it even more fun on the downs and rather than just get another GD I thought I would see what people were thinking of the KS Lev.

Any more users or is it still too new to comment on reliability?

Here is my PAC first build. I don’t think much will change apart from maybe a dropper post. First ride out on it the other night was fun. Looking forward to a long fun relationship 😆

    Yes they do.

Slightly more faff to fit the cleats than normal but well worth the effort.

    Sounds familiar.

I was on a Xen for years. Bought a Xar and it just wasn’t quite the same. Had a look about and eventually went for a Poc Trabec race. It looks almost like a Xen, fits just like the Xen and you don’t even notice that you are wearing it after about 5 minutes. The Poc also has a much better finish than the Giro helmets that I’ve had. The finish on Giro seems to have gone downhill in recent years.

The Poc is expensive but Amazon are the cheapest by far!

How are you getting on with your new Felt? I’m toying with one a the moment.

Can you tell me what size you are running and what height you are?

    Cheers

Speedplay Zero Cromo, Stainless or Ti whichever your budget can stretch to.

They are light, give more cornering clearance, double sided, and I don’t get sore knees with them. Oh and I had them before Wiggins made them cool 😆

I’m running a Renthal ring with E13 xcx along with a XTR clutch mech and I’ve not even been anywhere close to dropping a chain or had any problems whatsoever. I don’t know what it would be like with a normal rear mech though.

Sadly I won’t be in the country but if I was I think I would be struggling to justify £42 on an entry.

Do you not think that if the price was lowered to say £20 this event would be attracting a lot more riders or even selling out?

Ek I’ve just bought some unos myself. Looked in to it and the straight and s bend ones look as though they would make your wrists over extend if you know what I mean. The unos surely give the most natural wrist position.

Once my ones arrive you are more than welcome to try them out.

1989 Raleigh Mirage with Exage Trail group on it, 21″ frame and it was waay too big for me.(I’m only 5’6″) Anyway I whacked my nuts on the first test ride down the road on the oh so powerfull canti brakes!

I quickly got the bug and luckily I won a Rockhopper in a competition in 1990. It came with Shimano 400LX on it. Now not many people nowadays will remember that groupset era 😆

I suggest you give Simon at Loco Tuning[/url] a call. I recently bought Rev Rct3’s from him for cheaper than you have mentioned you can get them from Merlin, but they come fully serviced from him so you won’t get any problems like you describe from the German shops.
Simon really is great to deal with 😉

I’ve been running Zeros for the last three years. I don’t think I can say much more than the reviews. They just do the job without any fuss which is a good thing. Better ground clearance due to them being so small. If you do get them make sure you get some cafe covers or if not you will be doing some skating when you stop 😆

How about upgrading to a dropper post sometime. I think that you would be surprised at what one would do for you 😉

Snap, I have all the parts for my 853 as well. Waiting until July(hopefully) is going to be torture. 😕

Anyway I’m going to put my Pikes onto it, I think the adjustable travel will suit the PA well.

Four Highland winters in all sorts of filth on mine and I had it opened for the first time two weeks ago and it was spotless. Good enough advert for reliability for me and those that know how I/ we ride.
