    How does that compare

Only got out on it 3 times before a rather eventful Boxing Day ride when I came of big time and broke 5 ribs and damaged lung , I liked the grapil it rode well . The flyer feels a bit heavier but i don’t mind as long as it’s better built , bit harder up hill but felt fast downhill , maybe that’s why I crashed ;-)

Did you break your Grapil? I broke 2.

Yeah I also broke 2 , they wanted me to wait till a re designed rear triangle was available ! So to get them moving I told them I wanted a full refund , they offered me a kili flyer 121 , might as well give this 650b caper a try :-)

Got a kili flyer 121 at the start of January , hopefully it lasts longer than my genesis grapil .

Friend was on holiday and got back on the Sunday 04th taxed on line then used her car on the Monday to get to work. Pulled by cops pulling into her street , done for failure to display they weren’t interested in the reference number she got from dvla , £100 fine ! She phoned the dvla but they said although it’s not common to get charged for this by the letter of the law you should have it on. ! No wonder I cycle everywhere. .

Got a brand new bike they were brilliant , 500miles without Any issue , 6 weeks later I get a replacement bike due to a warranty issue on frame , new bike brakes are Garbage need constant fettling and you can’t be sure if they will stop you with the rear brake lever going rock solid and not applying any brake effort to disc after long fast downhill stuff. ! , I would say it’s just your luck if you get a good set or not , if they work there good , if not save up for something better

Just ran out and checked mine , on the non drive side I can see a hairline crack on the weld , wasn’t sure if it was the paint cracked , is this what the issue is ?

I done it recently , no signs up to put me off using the route , he was up the route in his pick up but never approached me so I would say no problem , the descent to the loch was fun :-)

Mines been used a lot since January , one pit zip burst but it’s still usable , for the price I reckon it’s a great jacket for cold weather stuff !

I had a terrible time with mine running loose , I tried tightening the Allen key but made no difference , I cleaned all the grease of mine and that stopped it running loose !

Had a similar problem on a s80 , turns out there’s two types of wishbones that few people know about , even Volvo parts ! Only reason I new was because the steering wheel was not in line after fitting , plus it through the wheel alignment out so steering was very light , just ask garage to check for correct wishbone fittment

Has to be a Toyota for reliability , don’t go near a x trail , turbo and fuel injection problems to common , newer patrols have Renault electrics in them and any I have dealt with have been a nightmare with electrical problems

Got them on my genesis core 40 both front and back , brilliant tyres , done 1200 miles on my last set almost all off road and never got a single puncture , unlike the mountain kings I used to use , defo great tyres

I have a core 40 , done 800 miles since January , great handling bike for the money , only problem I have had was the front wheel bearing seized solid and cost me a new hub :-( and bottom bracket went but that was done under warranty :-) , to be fair almost all the miles were done in single track hill work , and as per above paints soft and components could be better , would I buy a new one ? Yeah probably !
