Dezb, you do get that on the NHS.I went into A+E on the Sunday morning with a really swollen knee which I thought was just fluid, they had a look at it and Xrayd it.Was asked to come back on the Monday to get it drained but there was no fluid in it so was told needed an MRI scan which I got on the Wednesday.Found torn miniscus and general wear and tear and was operated on the Thursday morning and out the same day.Maybe I was lucky but I wouldnt go slating the NHS,it is free after all

I sent back a brake which had a dodgy lever and they replaced it no questions asked. They did say they sent it back to Avid and it did take 2 weeks but better late than never.Think you will be sorted.

Try as many on as you can and buy the one which fits or feels best.As for Oscillate’s great comment who cares what other people wear.Didnt see you in the top 3 at Fort Bill last weekend!

If you can get one cheap take it,Ive got one and was using it for everything from trail centres to downhill days at Fort William and nothing major broke.I find it quite hard on the uphills but great coming down.Still used for everyday riding but splashed out and got Norco Dhill bike for the big stuff now.Buy Norco

If you want a new dh bike look to buy last years bikes and you get a brand new bike at a great price.Much better than buying 2nd hand but depends on your budget.I rode an all mountain bike at Fort Bill and it was ok but then got a DH bike and it was so much better but then you want to go faster and then you(well me)crash!Great fun though.

Ive allways used Vans until about 2 years ago when I got some 5/10s.Vans sole is great when its dry and upper leather more flexible but found they wore out quickly.5s are bulletproof once you get used to them and they seem to stick to pedal pins in all conditions but I just do downhill so depends what your lookn 4

Ok guys thats the swear ban over, hopefully.Ive been snowboarding in Scotland for about 15 years and have had good and bad days but my point is theres nothing worse than driving for 2 1/2 hours up the A9 to get there, theres loads of snow and the access roads closed.Bus people up or get them on the hill whatever way they can.If they have more snow days=more money then the price of a lift pass might come down.I also think they need to open the gondola to mountain biker in the summer but thats another topic.I thought the point of paying millions for a funicular was to improve access to the mountain.

Ive now been to loads at Inners and 1 at AE and this is the only one there has been any issues with.Overall I think its a great service and will use it again and Ive entered the Alpine Winter Series for the first time so hope the road is ok for that.

Actually smartarse I asked the guy who was loading the bikes and he said they were hoping to go to the top later in the day. This was after the second run.I take it you were there as well.

Ive been to a few uplift days there and allways go fully padded up.Its up to you how hard you ride but look on you tube and you will see most of the runs.Enjoy cause they are great days(no peddlin up)

If you are going to moan about it then you are not goin fast enough on the descents or do us a favour and dont go back,go ride somewhere else there are plenty of riders who still enjoy it.Better still get your spade out your arse and go help the trail fairys!

Dont kid yourself about the main run its much harder than it looks when you do it at speed, the wee rockgardens are big but as long as you enjoy it thats what counts.Thought the red was ok to do once but you really go to use the DH track.

Go for the pitch if you can get one. There was a guy in Whistler rode his to third in the downhill there and took pelters before his ride because of what he was on .At the end of the day buying something with your hard earnd cash should make you proud of whatever you are riding. You can allways upgrade later

Its like everthing else if you are good enough you can ride any board.Ive been going to Whistler for the last 10 years and had 5 new boards(1 every 2 seasons)and had no problems with any one I bought.Better to get good fitting boots then worry about the board

Dont know the name of it but first pub after you cross the bridge coming out of inners carpark is a must stop at.We have been in there dirtier than Tiger Woods and met with a smile or you can sit outside if its nice.

Does anyone know when all trails will be open again?Hope they have done away with the tight switchbacks after Kelpies, they are too tight and you lose all speed.I will still ride there as its only 20 mins away but could be so much better.
