How about if your a Strava addict?
I don’t use Strava but maybe there is or should be routes you only ride with a flat, no tyre or no wheels… a bit like top gear with a “wet lap” :-)

I’m running 40mm internal with 3.0 tyres. Tyre profile is fine.

Swapped out the RL damper for the RCT3 and also stripped the fork down and gave it a full service.

Might be the combo of the damper and fresh oil/grease but what a difference. Worth while upgrade.

I used whatever the lower leg lube is from the tftuned’s service kit..put the same in my bluto.
Doubt I’d notice any difference between the weights.

I’d advise you to wear clothes, firstly the sand up your crack and secondly a man riding round sporting just a blue/black helmet, please don’t go near the park area…kids present

I went out on my fatty with a local bunch and was at the front most of the way.
Went out with them again on my 5 and was at the back from the start, absolutely hated it.
Which made me wonder what is wrong with my 5, I just put it down to heavy draggy tyres and rode the fatty every time after.

Took my 5 to the lakes and got reminded why I bought the bike. Was ace going down the descent on the red, as I was riding alone I didn’t have anyone to gauge how slow I was up the climb.
So is 45mins for the red at whinlatter crap?

I used a nine litre water extinguisher for a bit, I then repurposed it as a bike washer.

That’s a dam good idea, how many bikes can you clean from one fill?
How much pressure does a water fire extinguisher have, Does it give a nice jet of water?

I’m with you on this one Tom, did the same to my Canyon Dude. 2 sets of wheels = 2 bikes. I went for 27.5+ and 3.0 tyres.
Makes a massive difference to the handling.

Definitely a gap in the market for a SDP version of these :D
