Nice decent pic of the new spectral, originally I thought this colour looked crap on the canyon site.

Now I need to decide this colour or stealth black while the wait is on for stock!

I often ride alone or with my 6 year old. This is mainly because with kids it’s hard to make any plans to ride with anyone else.

The mates that did ride with me got put off as apparently I ride like a loon. Which is far from the truth, it’s just years of riding Vs newer riders with less confidence.

Local club seems to be who can get to the pub the quickest!

Take the pads out and use a blunt instrument, preferably plastic and push the pistons back in.

Try to push on the center of the piston.

I know what your saying.. I reluctantly ordered a hope Pressfit bottom bracket from tredz.
Used the £5 of code you get when you visit their site, expected an email saying we don’t have it in stock and you haven’t been charged.
It turned up two days later just in time for the weekend.
Also had two bags or haribo in the package..shocked..

superstar are only offering the edge system for e13..no direct Mount chainrings.
Personally I’d say they would sell more direct Mount chainrings than the edge system. How many bikes come fitted with e13 cranks, Canyon, YT…?

    Hello Goldigger

We are sorry to say that we will not be offer e13 chainrings, only the edge system.

Unless I’m missing something, wouldn’t that be the same as all the alloy one-piece chainrings they make already…?

Yes my post just above yours 😁

Should of added to my OP superstar don’t do an e13 direct Mount chainring. If they did would be cheaper than an e13 alloy one at £47 (only 28th for fatbike!)
Now that they have the e13 direct Mount spider, there’s really no excuse to not offer a direct Mount chainring!

How do we get hold of the uprated spring? Just contact UK distributor and tell them my post keeps creeping?

Imagine the ride, old tech suspension, big tyres, motion sickness anyone?

Reading that thread Blastit has kindly linked to, is there any reason to spend the extra £15-£20 on the hope over the Rotor?

Anybody noticed when singletrack posts turn up in Google Searches the dates of the threads are shown wrong in the Google results? I had one that said 4 days ago, go to the singletrack page and it was 2 Years old!

Personally I find my eldest boy wants what I’ve got..so thats suspension and disc brakes and gears.
I picked rapid fire shifters over grip shift, as that’s what I prefer and believe he would get on better with it.
Soon he will want a dropper!

Mine was fine too in all the slop that we’ve got locally, however bottom bracket isn’t. Will have to pull that apart and re-grease (e13 PF i think!)

Cut mine short as possible and it works fine..no more creeping.
I reckon the upgraded return spring will stop any creep.

Anybody know why the install guide says to leave 165mm of outer from the top of the seat post tube?
If I do this the cable gets all bent up inside the frame and the post then creeps.

As long as I can get hold of the end of the outer and ferrell surely it’s best to keep it as short as possible when internally routed?
I can always remove the leaver and push some outer back in the port on the headtube in if I ever need too..
