This is a concern, looking at a bike from an online store which is shown as in stock. But they quote 14-21days for delivery.
I can walk there in 2 days and cycle back in 14 hours according to Google maps..😂

Just got the weight from orange, 13.3kg.
    Heavier than all my bikes…

I was curious and checked out the geo on some women’s bikes, having two canyons myself I looked at what they have.
Any reason why a women’s bike 2XS would be a bad choice? Apart from crank length..
Canyons grand canyon wmn has a lower stand over and reach. Comes with 27.5 wheels so I’d just need to replace the frame when he’s to big..

With a bit cut of the seat tube you can get the saddle to 720mm and the standover just a bit in front is 670mm (thats on a 401 I think they are pretty similar..)

    Thanks..
Just measured his inside leg with shoes on, only 64cm!

Anyone know what’s the weight of the 403 and 405?

Thanks, that’s a shame to big for my eldest.
Can’t see a 24 inch bike lasting that long..

I have a spectral CF9, brilliant bike. It’s great especially in the twisty sections.

I have a medium and can’t say I find the front high.

There was an issue with cracking in exactly the same spot on the chain stay. Canyon say they contacted everyone who bought a bike effected from the first batch, replacements sent to all apparently.

Mine never cracked but did have some minor damage near a pivot bearing that looked more cosmetic to me. Canyon insisted on sending me a complete replacement bike. This was turned around in 7 days, so can’t complain there.

Join the spectral owners group on facebook, there’s plenty of info on there.

This on the 2018 spectral, as the downtube now has there Bolt on cable channels this doesn’t give you any space for a bit of slack.

As mentioned above I normally go for the unbolt the lever approach and feed the cable in to remove the post.

My son did both blue loops last year when he was 5 and a half years old.

He loved it and didn’t have any problems.

Are you trying to suggest that the horse was a gypsy and because of that, it was trying to pinch your bike from right under you?

I just ride my bike, if something’s needs replacing it gets replaced. 😄

Orange £25 plus postage..the bearings don’t appear to be anything special?

£11.38 including postage – enduro bearings

You can also get hope bearings listed as 61902 RS for around 4.50 each.

Just reuse the bolts and plastic caps.

Don’t get me wrong about them being a bit draggy, just depends on the surface your riding on. Just thinking how fast it would be with some smaller less aggressive/XC tyres on. Although that might take away the plush feeling.

I have a 2018 Spectral CF9.0, it’s absolutely awesome. Puts my old now gone Orange 5 to shame.

It’s so nimble and fun in the twisty stuff, great down and up hill.

Extremely easy to get plenty of air, that the first time I did it I nearly went over the bars.

2.6 tyres are fine can be a little draggy up hill, but not as draggy as 2.35 Hans Dampfs IMHO.

Weighs on my scales 13.2kg, tubeless and swapped the bars and stem.

Here she is as Coed y Brenin

Spectral 2018 hasn’t changed price since its been on the site, so not sure about canyon putting their prices up 30%

Still decent value money in my opinion and hard to beat the spec for price point

I’ve pre ordered the spectral CF9.0 forecast to be shipped between the 30th -5th of May.

If that gets delayed I’ll be mad at not taking advantage of the 10% off on the jeffsy, which expires on the 30th. Plus the model and size is in stock

They had a few spectral ON’s, seemed to be very popular in the demos, so much so that this is the only pic I got..

Yeah the Mercedes World was a nice touch, my boys loved watching the diffing on the skid pan..

Would have gone in Brooklands museum if the nipper wasn’t getting restless in the pushchair, that’s a thing to do another weekend.

A couple of pics of the cars

look there is a little improvement from the charger 1 to 2

That being said how much improvement is there over a 2018 pike RCT3 Vs a 2014 RCT3? Apart from 20grams and boost.
