They’re talking crap!! IS to IS +20mm is a common adaptor.
The gold bore cap model are the older mono m4, but that doesn’t make it difficult to get the adaptors.
    *Edit*
The one you want is a HBIS20 oddly enough, link to Hope’s site:

Not always, but will depend on what’s causing the squeeking.
If it’s an alignment issue, then no amount of cleaning will sort it, but if it’s contamination then possibly.

Assume you mean cycle specific brake cleaner as opposed to car types?
I personally don’t think there’s much difference, but use the bike stuff anyway. Usually Motorex as it comes in a bigger can.
Some say the car types contains corrosion inhibitors, but have never managed to get it confirmed anywhere.

Previously ridden Schwalbe – any suggestions?

    Schwalbe again then?
Nobby Nics are great allrounders, if a bit steep.
    Panaracer Fire XC?

You’ll probably find it’s something most ‘cross & road bikes have. Doubt you’ll get round the problem completely.
I had a prototype Giant cross bike a few years ago with a massive overlap & fitted shorter cranks in desperation to reduce the problem.

Road bike in the Kitchen. Mountain bikes in the spare room. House pretty secure with decent reinforced doors, not the crappy externally beaded ones.

albeit they got a fancy album?

DO you know how much these can cost if it was a fance one? I'm putting one together for a client at the moment & is costing me close to £500 at trade to have it made. They can be very expensive things & rarely get 'thrown in'

What's all this talk about negatives?? When was the last time you looked at wedding photographers-none I know have used film for some years now!
VERY few still do, but that is rare & tends to be medium format stuff & they do charge a premium for it.
I disagree with the OP (I would though wouldn't I) I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for.
Go & talk to some professional photographers & see thier work & compare it to amature photo's you can get for a fraction of the price-there is a difference.

I'm getting married in Feb & haven't got a huge budget, but we are having a decent photographer, who's Yorkshire based actually.

No photographer in their right mind will pass the copyright to you, but most will grant an unlimited licence to reproduce the images. Very different things.

Get it done on fil, it is better?? Twaddle. Professional digital has a higher dynamic range than film & much more adjustability in camera to get it right when it counts-on the day.
Give this man a call if you want to have a chat with him & tell him Dave said to ring.

You can go back several years on Giant's website if you look.
It'll need at least a 140mm to make it handle anything like.
120 on a Trance, but not a Reign.

I left one I really enjoyed as manager in my LBS, to work for myself doing something completely different. Very hard decision but definitely the right one. So leaving a job you hate, there's no question surely?

It will fit on the same freehub body, all you'll really need is a new chain. Your chainings should work ok still.

It's a good fun trail, but you'll probably want to go somewhere else as well if you're thinking of a weekend.
Say something like Llandegla on Sat & Coed y Brenin Sunday.

Just come back from a weekend in North Wales running 39/52 & 12-25 & managed everything, was hard work in places, but that's all part of the fun! Stick with the standard unless you're heading abroad.

Very little drag, not great on a mountain bike as you can't pedal back to get your feet in the position you want! Great on a cruiser/pub bike though as don't have to have any cables making your bike look smmooootthh.
Can be had cheap as well. Sturmey Archer still do them iirc, through the Cycle Division, so any LBS.

Manufacturers websites are sometimes a good place to try looking.. 🙄
    Here
Assuming it's this one, bit more information/pics would help 😉

I use a small adjustable spanner, close it up over the dent & carefully straighten it up.
No serrated jaws like there are in pliers & the jaws won't try & open whilst you're doing it either.

You'll struggle getting one that will do everything on a bike. I ended up buying three different ones! Starting at 2-16Nm for the small one.

They probably stock it in two different sizes, 1.5-1.9 & 1.9-2.25, I know I used to. Easier to fit tubes in narrow tyres that way instead of trying to cram fat tubes in thin tyres.

No you shouldn't have any play of any sort-very common for them to wear on the pivots close to the dropouts & back of the rocker links.

Almost impossible to get full travel out of them, but should be able to get most of it at least!

Can you fit the bike in the car with all the seats up even without a bag*? What's the car?

I can in mine, have managed three bikes in bags + riders for said bikes with seats up, or five bikes & five people if stacked carefully not in bags.
Car is a Toyota Landcruiser though

Yep, don't often let other people work on my car.
Engine changes, brake caliper rebuilds, clutch, flywheel, wheel bearings etc. etc.
Only thing I've paid someone else for recently was a CV joint on a Landcruiser as it's a pig of a job.

I've got an old one like the one in your link. Got it second hand probably 4 years ago, been abused & still works faultlessly.

My NeilPryde fits in an '03 Fiesta with the seats down. It's very snug but it does go in.

Very-seeing as it's against the Giant dealer agreement

There have been a few where the alloy inserts come loose, either the pedal insert, or if for an internal BB, the insert for that. But whenever I've experienced it it has been sorted quickly enough under warranty without any problems.
    Lovely looking cranks too.

Every wondered why a bikeshop employee will say 'cant order it as its out of stock at the supplier or we cant get hold of those now'? Its because their accounts on hold until they've paid some invoices off first…..

Complete bollox. Have you ever actually worked in a bike shop & know how things work?

The webbing type? I just use toe straps from old toe clips-have worked fine for years.

MTB pedals & a triple, bet you ride with a peak on your helmet as well??
Nice looking bike though, hope you get plenty of enjoyment out of it-road bikes are ace.
I've got a spare pair of Shimano SPD R540's if anyone needs/wants a set.

I've got an Advanced 3 & it's awesome, so much stiffer than the ealier frames, but still really comfortable.
Get it bought! (if you haven't done already)
