Should be listed on the website you buy them from, no?.
Failing that, check the rockshox website??

Yeah, I guess you can sometimes mod a fork to a different length if the physical parts are common, but you’d be best sticking to the “on the box” figures to prevent riding over your own face…

    Unless I missunderstand the Q

The result will be effectively equal in volume to the water it has absorbed.

Mk3 MR2 is hard to find because… it’s so damn good.

Learn to drive it hard with the stock engine then swap a 2ZZ-GE or 2AR-FE in it and hit warp speed.

If you swap the spare wheel for 4x new good tyres and a can of tyre-seal then there’s a decent amount of space.

I’m currently in the middle of a 3week camping holiday in France with two persons, a nice 2man+ tent, cookers, clothes folding stools and lot of other stuff.

Bargain! (PS, buy on eBay etc, not PHeads)

I know everyone’s different and all, but for me this is just caused by eating too much…. And that varies depending on how much exercise I’ve done. Seems that the more my body manages to take out of the food, the less there is left for other flora to gaseate!

But, yeah, sure you’re not just over-eating?

Perhaps the end fittings aren’t on well?

The only difference I’ve ever noticed is rust resistance. High quality stainless cables are actually a bit of a marvel, technically.

Regarding the leaving parts behind… I used to do that sort of thing. To improve matters I count the objects. It’s hard to leave something behind if you know you have to put a certain number of things in the car.

Regarding forgetting bits to take… I once drove 8hours to discover the three bikes were useless as I had forgotten the small box of axles and pedals.

The black one with green iridescent fangs will give you a nasty nip.

It’s Segestria florentina, and I threw one out of my flat in Kettering a few years back.

Speaking from experience-careful with your torque settings. It’s a lubricant, even if not like a PTFE based product, it’s still an oil.

Most of the torque applied to a bolt is lost to friction. Torque values for unlubricated bolts will be completely wrong if applied to lubed bolt as the lube will modify the frictional value significantly

EG 10nm correct for your unlubed bolt then adding lube will reduce friction by, say, 50% you apply 10nm and overtorque the fastened by 100%

    PITA but tru

What?! I don’t think it’s just adjustment of aim that prevents the little swimmers from doing their job. At you sure you went to the right place for the work :)

I’ve a 2008ish yeti ASR with a big top tube dent near the suspension mount. Seems okay.

I’d guess that unless you’re a total hucker, it will be possible to see if it starts to get worse and just stop riding it.

Many steel frames can also be chopped up and have new tubes inserted.

I find the fact that all the packs have a review from the same guy, saying how awesome it it, deeply suspicious.

Dishwasher will warp them if it uses hot water or dries with a heating element.

My father has been cleaning thousands of records a year for tens of years an he uses Ambersil Groom and a natural bristle brush like you’d find in the bodyshop attached to a stick for back scrubbing.

I’m deeply skeptical for two reasons.

1- If you really just use an amplifier for the tweeter alone you’re presenting a very very small load to the amplifier, and through a crossover which means all the bass frequencies are rejected making a very uneven and high impedance load.

2- If you’re going to do it, you should cross the signal over before the amplifiers or you’re retaining the main source of distortion etc in the system

My suggestion, and indeed what I use, is a minidsp in the digital domain as a crossover and then satellite and sub.

My suggestion is to accept, that like USB plugs, there’s no way to know until you try 3x.

Grab a pedal, all have left or right marked somewhere. Offer it to the correct side, R = drivetrain, and use your fingers to turn it until it begins to screw in to the crank. When you have established the direction by feel, use the pedal spanner.

I was stoned off my tits for years as a bike mech and still managed to get it right.

    Usually.

Sell the Yaris and use the money to do something nice. Also, it’s never gonna win in a banger race, so let it keep running a few more years… It will make someone else happy and is already manufactured, so probably more environmentally responsible to keep it running than build a new car.

Naah, they also designed some custom frames.

    Very badly.

But don’t be too sad about that, ‘cos you’ll never get hold of one to have to worry about it failing anyway :D
