Bring your own quiet food, fire up Wittr to alert other local kermodians (then put the phone away). Watch the film, then mutter something about the “death of narrative cinema” and stalk out.

Torx is standard on Magura… but usually <15Nm IIRC….

    Just in passing….

You can avoid many issues to do with disassembly if you use anti-sieze compound on the threads of the bolts as you put them in. NB, this is not the same thing as grease, which will lead you to over tension the bolt (and PTFE grease is the worst).

    Happy wrenching.

Pretty sure a soldering iron, a 5v regulator, a USB socket and a headphone socket will be most of what you need.

Good idea for a project, that.

You know you can rewind streetview imagery, right? He might still be there, just not the default view.

Just in passing, look for one with a decent amount of ventilation, as opposed to a very slimline one, and you’ll export videos faster. Most laptops will start to slow down as they warm up.

    Maybe one of these:

WRT Battery life – keeping it between 40-80% as much as you can, and in cooler places, will both extend the useful life of the battery.

In the wild, rabbits strip bark from young branches, so it’s an innate behaviour.

Last time I’m taking Quirrel’s advice. Peeing in the sink was fine, admittedly, buy then I needed to give the fella a rinse, and after that a dry.

Do. NOT. Dangle your todge in a Dyson Airblade. I got whiplash and a foreskin I could store in-flight snacks in.

Rabbits ARE wirecutters with a cute nose.

One of my rabbits had to have throat surgery, perhaps linked to a sliver of wire causing a growth. Try to put it out of reach.

You could probably test that by putting a digital multimeter, set to AC, across the PSU caps. More than a few mV would be a bad sign.

Seperates tends to mean anything that wasn’t actually sold as a single purchased unit.

Seeing as you know how live music sounds, I’d suggest you find a place where you can demo some decent kit, new or secondhand, and have a listen. The differences can be very subtle or utterly unmissable, but you should be able to figure out what you like 🙂

We’ll rustle up some suggestions, I’m sure.

Meanwhile, I think you could do with some background research, and an introduction to key technologies etc.

Maybe start by reading some overviews published by What HiFi, and if you can find any articles of interest published by HiFi World (UK) they’re usually really knowledgeable (but are less often aimed at n00bs).

In your case, your knowledgeable ears give you an advantage!
