I’d say silicon based glue. Eg:

I was about 7 out of 10, but then I took a call from a guy I met in Morocco asking for 400 Euro as his mother is ill and he needs to pay for the hospital.

I don’t honestly know if I believe him or not, but either way I don’t have the money. Or any money TBH.

    So now about 4/10 :/

EDIT – Just made some appalling noises with the trombone. Now at 5/10 🙂

I’m no pro, but yeah, faster shutter=less blur.

    More noise, but less

You should investigate the image stabilisation options, play with them.

Mint is a very mixed bag of components and is maintained/developed by a small team. I love it to bits and it’s very good for “desktop” use, but if I were to want the widest compatibility I would try with Ubuntu first as it’s a little more likely to work with a wider range of software.

Just to expand on my comment. YMMV.

My 2c – Mint isn’t quite as compatible as it’s quite a hack. Perhaps you might have compatibility issues with CAD software?

I’d give Ubuntu a spin first.

Can it also make the floor vibrate and play soothing music?

What a bright future we will have, where your kettle can DDOS your toaster.

The guy behind that company is massively dodgy, a known charlatan.

The weight distribution of the vehicle will change as the fluid is moved from one tank to another.

He’s been teasing the limo version for years, not a lot has happened in terms of actual technological evaluation however.

Don’t hold your breath for the vehicle as promised, is what I mean.

(The advert for the Quant limo on YT is very cool, but that’s kinda the issue)

Eeer, no it won’t. You need an approved GPU and drivers. Both Radeon and Geforce have had trouble displaying correctly and Intel may not even launch.

Have a look on the Autodesk Forums before you buy.

You can join the hoses with a piece of cable tie jammed into the open ends (the tapered end and cut your own taper into the other end of the piece) then if their relatively firmy attached, push the new hose through while supporting the other one. Should guide it through easy enough.

I did it a long time back, before I’d built a wheel (though I did have the feel for truing/tensioning).

Just tape the new one alongside the old one in the same orientation, transfer the spokes and evenly tension them afterwards. Get them all to the same tension as best you can (easy if it’s all straight, just do the same thing to all of them on each aide), true it a bit, then spread the tension by finding spokes which ring a higher/lower pitch than their neighbours and spreading that discrepancy either side (on the same side, obvs).

    Should be relatively easy.

I thought Kerley was a Cornish name, there’s certainly a Kerley hill in Chacewater, where I grew up.

Tried once, twice, three times to buy an AS-X on credit. Was refused each time.

The last time they thought to tell me that being refused actually damaged my score.

    Goits.

Sounds like a bit of a possible disaster/waste of money.

Hire them for the same cash.

One of those nice subtle Razer laptops 😛

PS your old one sounds b0rked. Swap for a pair of part worn tyres?

PPS no wonder it was cheap with that display! Doesn’t make a lot of sense with the rest of the hardware.

    Hmmm.

Actually I did have this recently-a loo rimblock with a perfume I hadn’t smelt in, ooh, 20 years? Sounda bizarre, but I was taken back to the house of the woman who looked after me as a little kid. Nutz 😀

A10??! Not on the PC, shirley?

    Falcon 4 is though 🙂

If you can’t run Doom smoothly in 1024*768 you probably have a weak video card/integrated. BeB is prettymuch right on (no surprises there) with the RX recommendation, however you can also buy a lot of old games for the price of even a basic video card….

I also suggest BioShock, it’s ace. Probably runs well with a vaguely recent GPU.

Command and Conquer – boxset isn’t dear in CEX/ebay. Runs on a potato.

Dead Space – ****** scary. Needs a little GPU grunt.

Marathon/Aleph One – before Halo there was Marathon, Bungie were really really good back then 😀 More likely to have compatibility issues than hardware ones!

Fallout 3 – scales well. Min Spec: Geforce 6800/ATI* x850

Unreal Tournament/Quake – you can still get pwnd online 😛

    *sigh…those were the days…
