About 40 miles and over an hours drive, is what Google is saying from Southern Manchester. Is Ramsbottom still on, as it looks like my only bet?

Cracking ride as ever. I will fully commit to “lights off” next time. Only my third ever night ride,this tailgunner needs lights. As for going over the bars on a grass verge, i was oddly unharmed if you don’t count bruised ego’s.

Gents, I kept my Pie eating hand tied behind my back for week, in an effort lose some tonnage for these uphills. That said I am now ambidextrous! As per last week, apologies in advance but I am a slow fat uphiller.

I turned up last Monday, but a delay on M60 at Stockport meant I saw you cycle off as I arrived late. Serves me right for living on the wrong side of town. Up for tonight, as long as you don’t mind a slow tail gunner? Will bring inner tubes and beer tokens.

The newbie is keen to join again if you don’t mind me being the slow coach. I’ve sorted some lights.
