Used to ride a Chameleon and loved it, now ride a Lynskey Ridgeline LT with a pike on the front, its not as brutal as the Chameleon but is still pretty rugged with a bit of comfort thrown in, we sell both at the shop and both are selling well and everyone who rides both like each one for their own characeristics so I guess its horses for courses

Blur LT is the way to go light long lasting and not too expensive, oh and they also ride really well

Lightweight and UST don’t belong together

Rubbish, maxxis ardents or high rollers are not really heavy, they may be compared to xc race tyres but thats not the issue here, its tyres suitable for Inners, get it in context for gods sake!
Also tubeless ready is not the same as UST and they dont perform anything as good as UST either

We were at Drumlanrig today and it was fantastic, first ride after a nasty chest infection, it was great to get out and breath again. Will be going for a night ride on Wednesday.

I find that the latest xtr ( not 20011 ) is the best shifter I’ve ever used, it’s been a while since I used SRAM so can’t really comment on them

The Bos forks are actually £750 and we have three pairs in the shop, 2x 160mm and 1x 140mm, Dirt mag say they are the best 2011 product so far and are way above the competition ie RS and Fox. If they are better than my 36’s then they must be amazing.
I am more of a shimano man but would never rule anything else out.

just back from the docs with large doses of antibiotics and steroids to try to get this chest infection to settle, its now my third year of this, every winter the same. Been for chest x-rays and heart tests. Dont feel ill but the cough is unrelenting and I’m certainly not as fit as I was. I would say REST until it settles

Same thing happened to me, sent them back to sealskins and they sent me two pairs. The best I have seen is the new Giro ones there is a windproof liner that you wear on its own or under the really good waterproof part or wear the waterproof ones on there own if its not too cold, at £50 there quite expensive but you are getting two really good pairs of gloves.
