What I hate are all the replys to your adds who demand pictures but never take it any further, or they say “Dibs” and then a week later say no thanks mate I’ve changed my mind.

I have 1×9 on mine with an MRP chain guide, just the single one at the top £39. But I think I’m going back to 2×9 as my legs were knackered from yesterday. I use 1×9 on my Lynskey hard tail but its nice and light. The superstar guide is just as good at £14

I’m back to a 2.2 MK and love it on the back with a High roller on the front, my mate also runs 2.4 MK’s and loves them although he does run them soft and he is a super decender. The new MK’s look good also but dont know when they are coming out

I ride with I9’s (am hubs on flow rims)on my LTC, not really light about 1800g but super stif, again with the Bos Deville forks it makes the front feel really solid.
I would also love to try the carbon Havens, but the missus might object (AGAIN)

Cant seem to get on with fox forks, never liked them, prefer rockshox and dt swiss aint bad but after trying the Bos forks they are in a different league from all the rest and they are better value for money

Hmmm I would like to see those Rev xx to see if they retain the stifness while being such a light fork, thats the ones with the carbon steerer if i’m correct?

Its not the retailers fault that you can buy the forks cheaper in Europe and I find the figures quoted a little dubious. As a dealer we are obliged to sell at only one price to make it a level playing field and give everyone a chance of a sale. Its up to you where you want to spend your money but I think its better to support local business.

They dont feel similar, the aluminium and carbon versions are quite different, the carbon is super stiff and tracks much better, not that the aluminium ones didn’t track well but the carbon ones just lift it another level.

Billy Boy thats amazing I’m 5’4″ and ride a small, it has a 22″ horizontal TT and a 15″ ST. I ride with a 70mm stem and inline post and think its bang on for me. I think bike TT’s are too long nowadays as more and more people of your height are riding smalls and then companies like SantaCruz get critisized in the mags for short top tubes. There not short its just that Santacruz size their bikes for the correct size people, ie a small is for shorties like me and a large is for big blokes (or girls sorry)

Ha so Emma got there before me, we can also do a good deal on the ridgeline if you want we have two demo’s a small and a medium if you wanted to try first. I personally think its the best hardtail I’ve ever had. My last one was a Cotic soul which was good but a little long. I run my Lynskey with a 140mm fork, it will descend anything and is comfy to boot but not in a soft way, its still stiff but I just dont notice any harshness, any more question then give me a shout.

I’m now using a Diablo on half power its plenty powerfull and that lasts three hours, you can always buy a piggyback for £35 to give you another few hours, its just great having no batteries to connect up

I normally ride with a Hope HID light which I thought was fantastic, my wife however got me an exposure Diablo for christmas, WOW! even on half power its way better than my HID, on full power its just crazy. We also have the race MK5 in the shop, very nice. The Hope vision will not quite be as powerfull but will be good enough, I suppose its whether you want a seperate battery or not.

we are going tonight, conditions are fine, there has been very little snow and the trails are hardened with the frost, its ridding as good as a dry summers day (except its bloody freezin) Doing it at night is even better, I think we are also doing a Hogmanay ride as well!
