The question that remains is – wht happens to the next person down the doping food chain? Do the authorities go after them, or do they sit back and bask in the glory of taking out the top man?

Rusty mac – who is the lease through? Some companies are way more lenient than others. Arnold Clark are very lenient.

That is why I always buy my tyres through Blackcircles.

One of our hub caps came flying off when the monkey who fitted them )third party place) didnt do a proper job of it. Black circles send us a cheque to go out and buy a new set.

Will continue using them, just wont use the same fitting place.

As for your situation – I have no idea. One of those mobile dent repair places might be your best bet.

IF it’s an extension to the manufacturers own warranty then by all means go for it, but if it’s any of the other charlatans run away.

Or look at it like this – what is liable to go wrong with your car that will cost £500 and what are the chances of it actually going wrong.

A couple of things – golf courses come under land set aside for a particular use, so there are no access rights to them and Trump is spitting feathers because the SNP are allowing an offshore windfarm to be built near his golf course. The guy and his entire family are douche bags though, as are the police, politicians and whoever else was involved.

Any idiot can make a website look good, it’s making it visible that appears to be the tricky part.

No point paying a lot of cash for a website that nobody knows about.

So, to return to just about the first question you were asked – why do you NEED a website? Other forms of advertisement are available and probably more cost effective.

The retarded driving reminds me of a wee incident yesterday. Wife was driving. She was turning right at a T-junction from the main road into a side road. The main road was fairly busy with fairly fast moving traffic. There was a car trying to get out of the side road – boy racer type, shades on on a cloudly day, bright yellow car. I said to the wife that since he got to the junction he hadn’t looked ahead of him and didnt know we were there. Eventually, a gap came and he tries to take off into the side of us. He’d seen the gap, but hadnt realised there was a car in front of him. Almost caused a nasty pile up.

Moral of the story – look all ways at a T-junction.

I’m a physio student who happens to have a job providing physio (under supervision) to an elite sports squad. Most physio people are desperate for a job in elite sport but never get there. I on the other hand appear to have stumbled into such a job without trying or even wanting to work in that field (it’s not exactly top of my list as I prefer working with older people), but I wont knock the work back.

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Alex Ferguson and having a discussion with him about the behaviour of players in the modern game. He came across as someone who values hard work and integrity very highly and hates prima donna players with a passion, hence why he moves on players who start to think they are bigger than the club.

Knowing that, and following todays incident, I think that Rio Ferdinand wont be playing for Man Utd for much longer.

He also said that Fergie time is simply one example of him doing whatever it takes to win the game….

I’m a life long Liverpool fan, but I thought that AF was a top bloke to speak to.

I have a mate who is a paramedic and he tells me that you have a higher chance of survival if you are picked up by an ambulance which has two technicians on it rather than a technician and a paramedic. He claims it’s because the technicians will go for the scoop and run approach rather than the stay and play approach that the paramedic may take. Obviously generalised to the point of being absurd, but interesting all the same.

You dont get many people falling off cliffs indoors and conversely you dont get many people being electrocuted up a mountain.

It’s interesting to see the differences in approach that you get taught in courses which are aimed at different groups.

Outdoors courses that I’ve been on recommended reducing fractures and splinting them in a straight position, whereas the sport specific one recommended splinting as you found the injury unless pulses were absent. There were differing approaches to dealing with hypothermia and shock.

Wrap a hot water bottle in a towel and stick that under the sore bit. That and pain killers of whatever sort you or the coop has will see you fine. Try and get some movement back too. If none of that works whisky will.

Last time I went out on the sauce on a Friday night was probably 6 years ago.

This is made up for by other nights of the week I hasten to add. I’m not that sad.

uwe-r – I used to live in a £250k house which was paid for by housing benefit. I know plenty who have done or do the same.

As an aside – I wonder what effect the tuition fee changes will have on house prices in cities with huge student numbers.

Wrecker – what got us out of recession the last time?

That makes an assumption that everyone who rents is on housing benifit

No it doesnt. It simply states that there is a proportion of people who are on housing benefits. For housing benefit changes to have no effect, there would need to be a tenant for every property who could afford it without housing benefit – and that’s not going to happen unless prices drop dramatically.
