Now I’m not saying that those shoes are stolen BUT. The kind of person who can afford £3.5k on a pair of shoes is not the kind of person to be selling skid damaged tyres, hubs with rough bearings or bald minions….. Something is not right – or it’s a troll.

There is a treetment that would work, that involves planks of wood, but it’s planks of African Blackwood hand formed by 20 adult virgin Bhudists from Mosside or nothing.

It’s a short term politically minded solution to a long term social problem. The Toerags are just trying to win votes and don’t really care what it does to people who wouldn’t vote for them if their life depended on it.

Go see your GP. They’ll check you over to see that you’ve not done anything major and they might give you some painkillers.

I only recognised it because I managed to take a couple of photos around that area which got published in a book.

    Bloody good hills though.

    Green Hill?

Edit: Scratch that – East Lomond.

    A – it’s not flourescent,
    B – it’s not on a reel,
    C – it’s 3mm so quite thin,
D – if you have nothing helpful to add get off of the thread.
    E – Ah – that’s better – bit quieter now. :D

I’m surprised to find out that he’s 28. Thought he was the next big young thing.

Google shopping gives me https://www.google.co.uk/#q=guy+line&tbm=shop, all of which looks like cheap crap. Now to get back on track has anyone got a recommendation for a reel of decent quality guy line?

Full GB team has quit. Very poor performance by all.

Cav played a blinder to be fair….

Edit: For the record, I’ve ridden 120 miles in the pouring rain on the Dunwich Dynamo, which was at night. I know it’s not the same distance but then again I’m no professional.

Wow – you’ve done less than 200km in the rain. FWIW – I’ve ridden 300km in the pissing rain a couple of times and I don’t blame then for dropping out.

Mikey74 – have you ridden 270km is a day before? Let alone 270km at race pace in the pissing rain with no prospect of winning?

    1 9 for a rig check?

Phone whatever their non-emergency number is – the station nearest to where it happened.

I did that just for you. The correct spelling for stupid is stupid, not stoopid, stupid. Despite having two options to access the material within the article you appear to have missed the most important part of the article – it was a baby’s neck that was broken. Melbourne is not on the other side of the world either – that’s probably somewhere between New Zealand and Fiji.

Hmmm – interesting one. It’s not as clear cut as you may think it is though.

You see in the days before you’ve had the norovirus experience you think that diarrhoea and vomiting cant be that bad. There is a simple word in the middle of the description of the effects of the virus which passes many people by until the y get the virus – that word is “and”. Yes – it is diarrhoea AND vomiting at the same time, the exact same instant. I felt like I was going to explode that last time I had it.

I have no idea how much a bike like that would cost, but would assume it to be over £5k. I wouldn’t dream of leaving a bike like that locked up out of my sight. It’s not something I would keep in a shed or a garage either – that bike would be in the house.

Depends where your shortcomings are surely. If you are technically not that good get a coach. If you are short of discipline and motivation get a coach. Lots of reasons to get a coach.

That was my thinking. There was no screen, no feedback at all. He seemed to think if there was something structurally wrong, I would “feel” the ultrasound.

It’s theoretically possible that you might feel it if you were to apply ultrasound over a recent fracture site. BUT if there is any suspicion of a fracture then ultrasound is contraindicated and shouldn’t be used. I’m calling charlatan.

I dont think much of ultrasound as a treatment tool, but some people think it works wonders.

I wouldn’t worry about doing the exercises in a way where you don’t drop your heel below the level of your toes.

But aye – use the good leg to lift you upon to your tip toes, then lower on the gammy leg. Pain is to be pushed through for once (within reason).

HOWEVER – if you have insertional achilles tendinopathy you need to find a different solution. You’ll need to see a good physio to sort that out.

I can see a big argument about who gets Birmingham.

Simple test. Is Birmingham great? No – therefore it’s Britain.

Yet again, my suggestion of the People’s Empire of the North, Ireland and Scotland makes sense

How about we just split it half way between Nottingham and Sheffield and call everything south of the line Britain and everything north of it Great? The location of this line may have a 50 mile error margin in it. :D

Erm – because at present Scotland is part of the United Kingdom and David Cameron is the Prime Minister of the UK. As PM of the UK David Cameron at present has a large influence on the future of Scotland. Seems fair and relevant to ask him to take part in a debate on the future of part of the land that he is PM for.

It’s not about who is more scottish than the other. If you were born inside on the Scottish side of the border you are Scottish. It is about what is best for Scotland as a nation, not what is best for any political party.

Salmond is one my archetype examples of ‘cynical career politico with his chops in the trough’… maybe that’s what’s depressing… if he is our best orator…

We talking about the same bloke here? Salmond had a career before politics – he was an economist for many years. Glad to see that he got a desmond in his degree though. :D

I was feeling ill a couple of months ago and tried to get an appointment that day but instead I was diagnosed over the phone as having a ‘virus’. Three days later I was in intensive care!

    Was it a virus? :D

I don’t know why, but this sentence just makes me feel depressed.

Yip. Salmond is good, but in another era he wouldn’t be the best of his generation. Only person that comes close in the oratory stakes is George Galloway. The mainstream leaders are all hopeless drones by comparison.

Salmond is about the best orator of his generation within politics, an incredibly astute politician. He would show Cameron up to be the second rate shouty imbecile that he is. Cameron is scared.
