I used to use a motorbike cover when leaving my bike outside at work – worked well although storage of the cover was a bit of a pain, especially when wet.

Does anyone know what pad is required for Hope Tech 3 E4’s?

Looking at their Pad identifier list I can see:
– H4K – Mono M4, Tech M4 Pads
– H10K – New E4 Pads

According to the Hope website the E4, RX4+, RX4-SH, Mono M4 use the same pad type. Does the new Tech 4 E4 brake have a new pad shape?

I also tried to order one through their website but have never seen them in stock. I did manage to source one 2nd hand via eBay. Worked well for my needs. Since then I’ve sold the car with the towbar so it’s sat in the garage gathering dust…

I encountered the same – email notification from DPD saying delivery was due yesterday but still showing as not collected. I had also missed the post from Neil earlier in this thread (sorry!).

I had a prompt reply to my enquiry today from a helpful chap at superstar who told me the same – lots of parcels and awaiting a lorry from DPD, maybe today, maybe tomorrow.

Has ‘Stay Away from the Buttercups’ hasn’t been mentioned (apologies if it has and I missed it)? I’m sure I picked up a copy based on a recommendation from another member on here a few years ago. An enjoyable read, especially as I was preparing for the SDW BHF ride at the time.

I went ahead and booked with parcel force based on the advice above – afraid I didn’t come across cycle sent in my earlier searches so no idea if they’re any good.

Think I’m going to have to follow suit and only offer collection on larger items now as it’s no longer cost effective. Hey ho.

Similar experience to gecko76 – had to actually cancel before Virgin would entertain any discount.

Just make sure you have some idea of costs with other suppliers as (for me anyway) they used that as a basis for the discount rather than matching what new customers would get when signing up with them.

I have a rear hope xc hub (well a whole wheelset actually) sat in the garage that I’ve been meaning to do something with. The hub shell has cracked but the internals were ok last time I checked.

Just going through a similar process having cracked a WTB rim. Opted for raceface ARC27 rims from CRC as currently on sale and £36 each… no idea how they compare to your current rims but may be worth a look.
