    Same as fatmut.
Running a 2.35 H/R (tubeless) up front no problem whatsoever. 335's with Hope 2SP. Things of beauty and strength.

Vote for Rage Against the Machine to keep 29ers off the top spot.

Theres only one way to sort this out………..fight fight fight!

Calm down you lot. Its just a fad for beardies (or those secretly wishing they could grow one).

It'll be 32ers next year or butchers baskets or something.

    Correction-some OEM aren't adjustable to 120mm (100mm is a max)

You need to check inside the left (disc mount) leg to see if you have a black 'all travel' bobbin spacer in there. Some OEM Rockshox SL's aren't adjustable, some are!!! Aftermarket should be. You need to have a peek. Loads of little videos on SRAM site or try YouTube.

Well worth doing-makes a big difference. Mine were 2009 Merlin forks-OEM.

Greg Lemond-TdF-some years ago. In contention for yellow jersey. Bad squits. If he stops, they'll attack so……………..

Get the Team to surround you and let go on the bike. Apparently smelt like a sewerage farm for some time after and stained the lycra.

Don't think he was cleaning his own bikes back then tho!

Last visit the blue route was diverted from just after the lake down the fireroad to the overflow car park. This stretch was muddy and wet due to heavy machinery traffic after a pretty dry ride all the way round.

Check with them directly though. One Planet and Tillhill don't seem to be joined up…left hand doesn't know (or get told) what right hand is doing.

    Not been there for years.
Are there official trails or is it guide yourself job?

I wouldn't want the Fox fork and would plump for the frame option. You could then fit Reba SL with the option of 100 or 120mm travel.

Compared to 2010 the built bikes don't look as good a value as 2009.

Think there were a whole series of videos as part of 'The Victoria Project'. They were considered for TV screenings over here but we Brits don't do blood guts and gore.

It should be compulsary for all driving test applicants to watch IMO but mummies probably wouldn't want there little darlings interfacing with reality would they?

Buy a 2009 whilst you can. Bikes are going to be in short supply next year and very little discount. Big boys have scaled back on production. My local dealer says he's getting 1-2 bikes for every 10 he orders.
Picked up an 09 Anthem X3 for very decent money and frame hasn't changed for 2010.

Just serviced my Reba's with Shell 15wt motorcycle fork oil after 25 hours use….fantastic. Smooth and loads less stiction. Not convinced factory had put enough oil in lowers and what came out was already dirty and contaminated with grease and swarf.

Forgot to say I did the strip down last week and removed the spacer on 2009 OEM Reba SL 100mm (9mm QR). I now have 120mm of very slick travel tested in the worst conditions on a Peaks ride this weekend.

The 2009 Reba fork requires 10ml of 15wt oil in the bottom of each fork leg (the lowers) and 5ml in the top of the + air valve cap.

Get rid of all the 'old' oil and refill with clean new oil.

You only need the 5wt oil (125ml) for the motion control damper refill.

You've just 'short cut' a stage. Instead of removing the circlip at the bottom of the alloy stantion, you've pushed the rod up through the + air valve mount. The 20mm spacer you need to remove is black plastic and tapers out at top and bottom like a cotton reel.

No harm done as long as it all goes back in order and sits correctly inside the stantion.

    Beware!

In stock usually means that there are some in the country but not in their particular warehouse:

"A pair of tyre X please. I've just checked. They're in stock on your website".

"I'LL JUST CHECK OUR STOCK. YES WE HAVE TWO IN".

Man goes into warehouse…….ten minutes later.

"ERM….I'M AFRAID THEY'VE JUST GONE OUT AS MAIL ORDER".

    Unlucky or bullsh1t?

CRC, Wiggle or Just Riding Along get my business.

Yes there is mud and rocks and hills and everything.
Its magic mud tho so you'll be fine with the two Kenda Small Block 8's I'm selling……Kevlar, ridden 3 times and so grippy you'll never fall off. Even in the berms.

Bikes have got so good that manufacturers need to invent something new every year to plant that seed of 'want/need/desire' for next years bike.

Show me the independent science that proves the oversize bearings make a shred of difference.

It'll soon peter out like 29" and singlespeed as a pointless exercise.

The 355's will be fine. Running Pro2 SP 2.35 HR front with Stans and no problems whatsoever. The 355's appear tough and rigid after a months riding. Ride at Gisburn (very rough and rocky) and Llandegla.

Run a 305 for 3 years now. Top kit, no problems, reliable and battery life is not an issue. It will last all day (8 hours at least) and can charged from any USB source. Usually get 3/4 shorter rides out of it.

    What a strange place.

Chainring eating, bike breaking, multiple puncture, rock slab fest.

Please assure me thats not a professional trail design?

At least the car parks free.

Ran for 6 months without a single problem. 2.1 single plys on 717s. Going back to them after numerous other tyres. Maxxis UST is overkill unless you're a downhiller or brutal rider.

Just Riding Along website says you can use 21mm with 355's but they RECOMMEND 25mm. After fitting+inflating a tube+tyre the tape will be flatter.

An outsiders view. I am a member of the public. I (like millions of others) pay for delivery of my letters and parcels to various people and customers. I expect the prompt delivery I pay for.
The strikes have caused me hassle, grief, abusive phone calls and an increase in 'missing articles'.
I took an initial interest in the dispute but now, to be quite frank, I don't care. I haven't spoken to a single person who doesn't think the same.
I will willingly pay a little extra for the service I used to get.
I'm sure it will come from a private company, unparalysed by unions and strikes. I don't think it will be too far away either because Royal Mail is slowly bleeding to death.

Fitted a set of 2010 Deores a few weeks ago and find them excellent. Had experience of Avid 3, 5 and 7's along with Hopes Ti Mini's.
Did you leave the Deore's blades clamped against your bars overnight to get rid of all the air bubbles?

Ebay fees are a rip off.

Singletrack classified browsers make ridiculously low bids, negotiate a deal then waste everyones time by pulling out.

    Pick your poison!
