The 09 X3 is awesome and compared to the 2010 spec Anthems, its an absolute bargain at that price.

The Rockshox forks are a little basic but you'll still have loads of money left over with the 09 X3 and a decent set of upgrade Rockshox compared to the outright price of the 2010 and Fox forks.

Buy a set of Reba's that you can take up to 120mm.

2010 Giant range have suffered from exchange rate issues last year.

I use Garmin 305 on the bike because its waterproof and simple. I wouldn't let my iPhone anywhere near my bike-its too valuable, delicate and definitely not waterproof. Therefore can't think of an app that would be useful.

iPhone = phone, music and entertainment
Garmin = bike computer

Perhaps if I sign up as a Premier user I get the rest.

Chain line is dead centre and chain will be tensioned correctly (just read article on Park website!) but if that fails, I like the look of the MRP jobby. IN WHITE!!!

Took my road bike last time I was down there-uncle has caravan in Nefyn. Very quiet hilly riding. Not much in the way of off roading unless you car it out to Snowdonia or down to Dolg/Mach area. There is a small forest just south of Nefyn-access off B4354 near to jctn with A497. Not sure how much riding but I've walked there.

Mates 14 year old son suddenley developed type 1 after some family stress/trauma. Always fit and lean, never drank. Took him 6 to 7 weeks to settle into a routine and allow his body to adjust to meds BUT he was naughty at times-no food, wrong food etc. Didn't affect his life at all really and two years later he's trying to break into Bradford FC's 1st team!

Was a Fox man but converted by 2009 Reba's. Just bought another set: Reba Team Maxles-ready for test.
Fox have lagged behind in quality, reliability and minor bump absorbtion IMHO. They need to be the same price or less than RS.
