I'm 6'4" and ride a large, however I only have a 33" inside leg. Your best bet would be going and sitting on one.

For private sales, have a look through e-bay completed listings.

Don't bother with webuyanycar…. They are part of Carcraft and there basic business model is to pay a percentage of CAP Average, then just put the cars straight into auction.

It is the most common sound I hear on the forecourt!!! 👿

With over 50 cars sat in front of me and doing the job for 10 years, I can honestly say, I don't have a week go past where I don't hear this noise…The starter motor will turn a few times then go to the solenoid click. It will also do it several times before there is just the clicking sound only…..

I would guess that the battery is Bu99erd, if you have tried to charge it already. Get it jumpstarted, check there is a charge coming from the alternator, take it for a drive (a good one of 10 miles or more) or leave it running for an hour or so. Then leave it alone for a couple of hours, then check if it starts, if it doesn't then the battery has had it, not uncommon after being left for that amount of time….

Has the engine actually started??? As I doubt it would be a sticking valve if it hasn't.

As I have said already, there probably isn't enough charge in the battery to keep the starter motor turning, all you can hear is the solenoid constantly firing!!!

Sounds like there isn't enough charge in the battery, try jump starting it from another car.

Is it a fast clicking sound?

I know that the majority of people carriers I have seen, of that sort of age, usually resemble a Beruit Troop Carrier on the inside. Really have to look hard to find a good one!!

I believed it was only on BMWs

Only with air activated central locking, and you had to be very lucky to get it to work….
