It always takes some time and effort to make a movie of a ride, but it’s so great to watch them several years later. Great stuff.

SC bikes are also so easy to service, that’s why I think it’s worth paying that extra.

when you see the quality of TV series such as Breaking bad, good movies are hard to find these days. Rust and Bone was the one I enjoyed the most this year, with Django.

Where was Y2k? Was it the great descent toward the end?

I was 5 min late at the 4 laps start, then I got a stitch trying to catch up which lasted all the laps, then I was starving on laps 4, and yes I do want some sympathy.

This was a great course, great weather and cake (there were a few left, thanks guys).

    Brilliant

Agreed. My night ride was challenging with my worn out summer tyres.

Ah the Wyre, sounds like a long time ago in a far away county, maybe I should do a Wyre Revival soon.

Captain, any time! Hope your injury was not too serious.

I’m jealous of the riding, and the video. Are the sponsors at the start just for fun or did they pay you?

If you go up to Kinlochewe, you can try the following trail, i recorded in June, all ridable up and down:

Then a coffee/tea break at the Whistle Stop Cafe.

thanks! – I do breath on only one side, that’s true. I think I will try both sides from now on. I tried the lane on the floor but it was of no help, so it sounds like I need a better technique

Impressive – but they don’t seem to hang around STW tower. I really wonder what they can talk about when they are out riding then.

i’m based in Westbury but I never heard of a mtb group there – I heard of the Westbury Wheelers, but there are only roadies.

    Nice crap music.

Looks good, but gave up watching it cause of th music.

Yes, I agree with you – This was done a bit in a rush. You can still mute it but thanks for trying.

Those pictures show how good it could have been with a blue sky. I guess I have to go back.

p.s, relating to the youtube video, what/where is bluebell’s?

Erlestoke Wood. Ok a bit further south from Bath, not that close.

if the weather is glorious, it will be silly not to, as the scenery will be magnificent, a bit like Game of Thrones without the dragons.

I’m afraid I can’t resist to plug my video going doing the Semnoz on Day 3 of my last year holiday:

made it across tbh I always say after I wish I had done the out and back, so I wouldn’t be despondent about that, was really difficult with the amount of rain

I went 2 days later and started from the Bianasdail side, and that side was much more challenging so i agree that out and back was probably the best option at the end.

Yes, I got some nice days later on , and the views were even better! I stayed for 1 week, but i didn’t find the time to explore the Torrindon area unfortunately. Got to go back!

Ok – I get it – The original text is written in very bad french, so I thought it was already translated using some online translator tool.

Sprocket and Nick got it right.

Not sure I follow here – Translated from english? so you must have the original text in English? So why translating it in french?
