I also have to use the hammer blind bearing tool and it works well. I did need to soak the bearing cup in WD40 beforehand. I had to use that tool to remove some bearing cup seized in my Hope hub as well, so you might use it for other job eventually.
Look for my name on Strava and download the gpx files. All mainly from Longleat. I might be able to show you around on Sunday if I don’t have to clean the greenhouse.
I remembered expanded the Marin trail by adding a descent by one of the lake on the west side of the trail. “Natural” and man made trail on the same day, best of both worlds.
on that last picture, Nan Bield Pass, how far does that singletrack go? I can see quite a long way along the ridge, or does it drop earlier? looks like I got to do it.
Well once you are there, ping me and I can take you to the Mendips! it’s a bit like Clent Hill on a slightly bigger scale but with the same red dust (when summer is dry).
mmm that’s interesting, I can’t do the black at BPW with my Solo, and I found the red challenging. So maybe that’s the answer, I’ve got the wrong bike.
I got the same one and it works trying to remove some cups from my SC VPP link. I did spray some WD40 before and wait a bit. I tried the boiling water method but it didn’t work- and yes, as said before:
I’ve got the MT91 and they are great – Feel like walking boots when walking and as long as the water doesn’t go over, they do keep your feet dry. The laces are not great if you are walking through heather/brambles (i.e. when you can’t find the b***y paths) as the elastic bit is a bit pathetic. The Vibram sole is top. I recommend them.
