I wish they can do a split screen video with Pierron on one side and Danny on the other, and see how it goes. Danny was 1 s behind then catch up amazingly.
I did this loop this year which was okayish – it was inspired from the DRRT – I extended a bit on the east to add some singletrack in the wood but nothing too fancy.
Why not combining Marin,Penmachno and the loop around Cowlyd reservoir (back of Marin trail) – I usually get bored of the trail center tracks and the natural stuff is refreshing.
Somehow I used to like the Gobi saddle but that new model is giving me saddle soreness after several hours riding which the old models never used to. I know i’m getting old as well, but i’ve stopped using their saddle for now on.
sorry, slightly off topic, but where do you get your laces from? Ideally i like the same color and thickness as the original one and i was hoping their might be a specific dealer I’m not aware of rather than a generic seller. thanks
Gardening of course. Then you end up with invasive species like spanish bluebells, Japanese knotweed,…moss will keep your lawn green all year and humid for those new hot summers and hosepipe bans
I have to remove 2 links out of 118, so that will be 116 now. I didn’t compress it to measure the length, just fit it, checked I had enough clearance on small cog and a decent cage angle on big cog, inspired by BearBack’s reply.
the new frame can take longer travel fork , that’s why I will prefer to go to the new one. I put a 150 on the MK 2 frame and it’s a bit more cumbersome climbing. Also the new frame only take 1x so you have to be okay with that too. If you are more of a gentle rider rather than a hardcore enduro, the carbon frame will be good enough.
What I found crazy is even reading a specific thread on this forum, I got adverts related to the thread. I had gardening adverts after reading somebody having issues with his lawn.
Yes a bit on the short scale for long XC loop, more massive jumps territory. However the blue and reds are nice to do. If i was you, I will try to go to the Mendips instead, nearby, unless you’ve done them already.
well i like mine – I’m now on Mark II but obvioulsy I want the new one now. It has more travel so that could be just perfect for you. I’m not really a DH person so I’m not pushing mine enough to comment on its capacity for hardcore descent. I will demo one though as I’m riding a size M despite the demo person telling me to go L.
The Doethie Valley is another one that got hyped up but didn’t actually deliver that much – as I recall it was miles of fire road, a daft rocky climb, a fast descent you bail out of just as you’re getting going, a soggy piece of singletrack and then a fire road slog up hill. And no cake for miles.
Did you extend it up to Cwm Rhaeadr? There is a pub on the way there as well..
If I was visited that website for the first time ever, that window would have annoyed me straight away and i would have gone somewhere else. Just saying.
