thanks. I saw that Enduro tool on google but didn't get any idea of price or where to buy it except in US. And most part of the date were 2007, so my 2s analysis told me that maybe this tool was not availabe anymore. Where did you get it?

Travolta in Face Off was good, and then he should have stopped.

The last Star Trek movie is pretty good for sci fi.
24 season 7 as a thriller is quite enjoyable.

I had a friend used to meditate daily. I then realised it was like a drug as each time he was not able to meditate, he was very distressed and behaving like a manic. So I believe there is a kind of addiction somehow, so not sure I will encourage people to do it.

take stairs instead of lift, park your car not that close to the shopping center entrance, can you walk instead of taking the car to go to your regular places? Everything like that can help you burning some fat. Today everything is designed to make people fat.

always lock out going up, and can feel it, more tiring, if I forget about it. What i don't do is playing with the negative pressure, I kept it to the same value from day one (fork is 4 years old now)

yes, too early to go biking over there due to snow. Always get caught each time I go the see my relatives over there.

No meaning? If you see a mountain bike during the day and you dream about it, it means that you want this mountain bike. fact.

and what's wrong with cat poo in your garden? I never seen so far a cat poo in a plastic bag suspending to a tree or a gate?

Always think of that test: put a dog and a cat in a dark car boot. Drive for 2h and open the boot: which one will be happy to see you?

Just a quick highjack here, but are they planning to build more trails over there, or expanding it? It looks like nothing has changed since several years now.

    cheap white vinegar will do

    Gilles

yes leave your top overnight in vinegar then wash it. Works but I do have to do that regurlarly. Merino top is the best option though.

yes that's right, no purpose built trails, just briddleways. A bit refreshing.

Actually looking at your map, they don't take you to the ST/Bridleway near Crug Mawr. I really think you should do the detour.

This is one of my favorite route in Wales, specially the ST near Crickhowell and the long ascent back to Talgarth.

As if I can comment on photo quality when mine are dark and rider blurred and too far.

Sorry to hurt you, but I went checking a copy of WMTB (August 09) and compare it to ST December 09. The quality of the photos is not the best when compare to WMTB, for example the bike on page 39 top left corner has a very saturated sky and the frame kind of blend in it, so poor contrast. All bikes picture in WMB have better contrast and sharpeness (p 41, similar picture, bike with mountain background). Maybe that's a photoshop job rather than a printing job. When you flick through an issue in a shop, I believe nice clear pictures make it more attractive.

Well I still think WMB has a better finished quality than ST, but I believe ST has a fanzine spirit, so why not. what i would like to see one day, WMTB or ST, is a review of 4 bikes by the experts, and the same bikes reviewed by some mortal readers, to see the difference if any. Always think the experts got more things to think of during the testing compare to any lamda rider, and maybe forget to feel the joy of the ride. I won't be surprised if the outcome is completely different though.

By train you end up so close to the city center, no need to take the car. I bet there is a direct service Cheltenham – Bath

Order a wheel in a bike shop. Told me they call me back next week with price and detail. Week came but they never call me back, so I called them back and told me it will take 3 weeks. I called them 2 days later thinking of cancelling the order as it's too long. They told me they are going to check if it's really 3 weeks and call me back straight away. Well they never called me back straight away but 3 weeks later telling me that my wheel has arrived…
Pity the service was that bad as I need a new fork as well soon.

mmm just checked that and I get confused, I always thought the Skyline route was that briddleway on the North-West of Bath, but actually it isn't! That briddleway is part of the Costwold Way, the Skyline is right on the opposite side, and it's only for walker. Having say that, that bit of Costwold way is perfectly rideable whatever the weather, nice view (that's why it did make sense to me to call Skyline), nice but short singletrack and fully legal then!

just saw your other thread on trail building request. Never been in that area before, are you all riding after your effort or is it just a plain day of tidying/building trail?

problem with Formule 1 if you arrived late, and your card does not work, you get stucked outside as there is no overnight staff.
But I will encourage you finding a small hotel in the city centre, usually good, friendly and good breakfast, and you can top up at the near boulangerie for your next trip in the morning.
