sorry that's my whacky english, I mean hose or pipe, not cable, where the fluid goes through. And I can see that 25 ml it's not a lot. Thanks. Always top up before the reservoir get empty. Got to read the instruction again.

Funny that because I always think the UK mags are better than the french MTB mags. I'm sure A french version of Singletrack will be popular.

I did w2 3 weeks ago and really enjoy it, every bits of it, includeing the cappucino at the dropoff cafe. What kind of stuff do you like riding then?

My mother in law , 75, as walking on a footpath, was complaining last time of mountain bikers using the same footpath. She was very annoyed as she was expecting to walk safely without worrying about cyclists. Then I realised I will be annoyed just like her if I see somebody walking on those built trails in mountain bike centres, as I'm not expected any walkers on them. But I know, we are all perfects here, slowing down all the time when near a walker, and it's just those inconsiderate bikers who give a bad name to us.

From experience, forget the GPS, the reception is very poor over there. Better go for the GPSheldon.

it's on the Pewsey Down, part of the White Horse trail, toward Avesbury. From my map, the path goes near a top at 294m (Milk Hill), so I was wondering if I was actually near the highest point in Wiltshire.

Well that's the way consumerism works, buying things make you think you are actually buying the experience as well. Thanksfully all the people I ride/rode with don't fit your list. Are you living near London?

I agree, and I always thought that a french version of ST will work pretty well.

Don't Argos Racing Cycle in Bristol will just do that ? I know it's Somerset, but they've been great with me fixing my bike.

like to do it but it's a long drive to over there and the cost of the petrol makes me think twice now. I wonder if the attendance to this kind of event is decreasing for that reason.

Dead funny. To me the flaw is the format feel more like a TV format rather than a widescreen format. But I haven't laugh so much for a while in a cinema.

crispy, sounds good. I went once North West of Pontypool and it was very good, but I'm sure I missed a lot of good tracks. My plan will be to combine a trip to CwmCarn and riding some wild tracks at the same time.

Cwmcarn but the natural stuff not the XC/DH course

Where exactly? Near the trail centre or further North? South?

"As Edric said, it is quite ironic how most mountainbikers nowadays seemingly cant read a map and seem to rely on GPS routes "

Dude, if I use a GPS it's because it's a pain to ride, then stop 5 min later to read the map, then ride again, then stop another 5 min to read the map, then ride , then stop another 5 min to read the map, then wonder if it's the right BW, am i going to annoy this farmer if I am at the wrong place? etc…I tried several maps holder and they don't work on a mtb bike.

Paul, they need changing as there is a play and there is a very annoying noise each time the bike bounces. And yes, I got now a garage for doing it! I'm spoilt.

    How's the training?

Same format in different places, if you've done Ruthin, it will be similar but with South/Mid wales setting rather than North Wales. I haven't done the night ride though, and it's one of the place you can do it if you fancy it. So far Selkirk and Ruthin were my favorites.

Bad Ass Bikes is very good, but I was disappointed by Live 2 Ride in Frome. Never return my phone calls when I called them 3 times.

Yes I mean rear suspension, and when I pull the cable, I'm shifting in lower gear (pull down? I guess I just made up the term).

Just as well I'm not trying to sell it on ebay. Thanks for all your helps. I'll try to play with the gear cable then. (bike -> Santacruz SL)
