well I always thought the other way round will be long climb for short descent. Also my SD card was full so I don’t have the bit via fford las fawr (which I like really much).
My physio gave me some exercises to work on my stomach muscles, and it helps a lot. Not cured, but it delays the time before it start hurting, from 30 min to a few hours now . And i also have to go one size up with my riding shorts.
Lump, I just did the North Winsford route of the Exmoor/Dartmoor rough ride book (the one with individual OS maps). As Trailseeker wrote, there are still some fallen trees making the ride a bit more epic.
Since I have to stay at home more that I want to, I’ve started reading some very old WMB mags. One article was on Hope going to do transmission. Reading the article, the conclusion was they will never do handlebars…
Elaine, just on top of the plain back of Warminster, then Eastleigh Wood near Longleat Forest. I’m happy to swap a trip to Swinley Forest to show you around anytime.
I did service my Reba fork for the first time recently too. The other thing i didn’t have was some new crush washers and a deep 10 mm socket. Very satisfying once you’ve done the job.
Not sure exactly where, i have to go on top of a kind of ridge, you need to push the bike if it’s wet, then follow the ridge to an end, you will find it. Awh might know better, or maybe we have to keep it quiet.
I remembered them, a lot time ago, when i was young, the Wyre Christmas rides were the best of worcestershire. I can’t do Sunday since it’s my other half birthday. But if you can run a post- Christmas Ride in FOD, that will be cool.
Exmoor? Yes, sounds like miles away from here but if the weather is good, why not. I let you know for Sunday, probably meeting up at 10:30 somewhere near Weavering Down. Does anybody know if the Lillapool cafe is opened now?
Buzz, i hate to say that but i can’t do Saturday. I’m free next week from Tuesday, we might be able to fit something if you’ve got some days off as well. Take your lady to do some Christmas shopping in town while you are getting muddy. Sunday however I’m planning to ride Crook Peak and the top of the Cheddar Gorges.
Stuey, to be fair i can’t remember, they are old lights running on an old Lumicycle battery. That’s why i have to stick behind the leader with his Exposure Light.
