    Hi Superfli

tip of the day is to place a clean towel/rag under the hub to catch anything that might fly out from pawls from inside the hub. Mine too was stuck fast, Im just looking at it waiting to see if the bike fairy will fix it?

I too have these and wanted to give the hubs a re grease. I became stuck at the first obstacle with the outer caps or whatever you call them. One only has to pull them off no thread but they are stuck too.
    Any ideas?

Its just fantastic and if you can afford it then go with a Co and guides. they know the area, the rides, the views and you will always arrive home at the right time and a big smile.

And to add to the Go pro query, whats the best programme to use to upload and edit your film. This is not for commercial use but to enjoy the filming

Whats this like “enduro at the Forest of Dean” . I like the single track type racing with as little fire tracks and bridle ways as poss.

You see I knew its difficult as both these answers (and thanks all the same ) are different?

I have 1 x 10, do I need to chnage my rear axle to fit an 11 speed cassette?

I knew that when I wrote “back” someone might question this. I ride a 30 speed now with r chain rings, but have just bought a new bike with 1 x 10speed only and would like to get a 2 x 10. In fact most of the comments here and else where have explained that it is possible and not too difficult
    thanks

No I do not have the chain rings, I’ll have to but them. I want the extra gears to get up those pesky hills. It really is as simple as that
    thanks

I already have a 10 sp cassette but want a double chain ring on the front. I can find loads of how to videos but none to convert to 20 speed?

    germolene
    Free Member

yes it does sound expensive. But is it 2 days biking like the Polaris series years ago. This was 7 hrs sat and 5hrs Sunday, then beers etc, If it is like this it is worth it

    germolene

yes thanks for that. I have googles till I am blue in the face and still cannot find a digram showing how to?

    germolene

well you both seem to have answered that little piece of confusion. They are QR only front and back. Are these so called kits easy to fit or use?

you know when I look at the forums and questions asked,I think blimey this lot know an awful lot.
But when I go on biking holidays in the Alps, or ride Mountain Mayhem or 6hr or 12 hr races I never see the same tyres, bikes, brakes. In fact everyone has their own thing. You just want to try what you can afford and get some some decent tech advice from your local shop.

I wen twith Trailaddiction last year and it was fantastic. fantastic weather, riding, food and company. I want to go this year but hated the flying , what with queueing up for everything on a tiny plane and once you factor in the easyjet flight at silly oclock and the waiting arouibnd for luggage and trasfer from Geneva to les Arcs I might as well driven and that is what i am looking it now.
if you want to hook up let me know

Are you sure the E111 will not work in surgeries. I thought that is the reason we have it?

we ride all over the Downs. When it does rain try to keep to the grass or at least off the wet chalk, it can be lethal. Try not to stop too suddenly and careful when turning
otherwise move out of Sussex 😀

    guys
I was just asking as when I was looking to upgrade my present one’s the different sites offer “new alloy” and “heat resistant” and when you investigate you can see the different priced one’s are more heat resistent than standard rotors. I just want to stop when the track stops, its not much to ask

we are all different, with different ideas about walking, biking and riding horses. the very least we can all do is smile and say hi. This alone can help smooth the traisl for all to enjoy

great stuff, thanks guys. I see from some pics and other threads that we may need some armour, is this necessary/
And will my full sus with 150mm travel and 160 rotors going to be enough bounce and stopping power?

this looks like decent riding. I have always wanted to get out in the Alpine region. if I wanted to rustle up some mates and drive over. Where is a good place to start or are there any decent maps/routes I can lay my hands on.
