Great looking bike, any possibilty of putting a line of moving LEDs on the front and getting the bike to make Cylon noises, would be a laugh for night rides! 😀

Thank you Graham S for your graph, indeed this shows falling infant mortality due to measles due mainly to increased living standards. What is not mentioned is the infant disabilty caused by measles, this is what the jab is for.
Looking at the WHO statistics we have

    Ref:www.who.int/immunization_monitoring/diseases/big_measles_global_coverage

At lest my graph is referenced unlike the Informed Parent one

Had a set on my Saracen Zen, swopped them out for Shimano and have not had to change them since. As mentioned before pistons were seazed so would needed replacment. Not the most eviromentally friendly brake fliud either.

Mo-wett et Chandon is how the French would pronounce as they do not have the word ‘and’ in their lexicon, this link should give some idea.

Thats why I order Taittinger so much easier to pronounce.
Anyway how do you pronounce Cipollini as in ‘Mario Cipollini’

I had this problem with a steel Bianchi. In the end the local bike shop sent it to an engineer, who sawed the seat post off, tapped a large thread into the seat post and then screwed in a nut. Then using spanner removed the seatpost by tightening the nut.Au and steel do not mix using copper slipgreae will stop them from binding together.

I have had the same problem with Hayes, eventually my local bike shop replaced them with Shimanos, and I have not had a problem since. You can get replacement pistons but it would require a bleed kit as well.
    Edited for grammar

Keep riding, otherwise you will succum to the problems of inactivity. Increase weight would be a major problem with OP as would increasing problems with your heart and general mental wellbeing.
Visit your local gym and see if they have a regime using weights/ resitance, as this has been proven to improve bone density.

I find the proper cleaning kit a bit lacking as the ‘pipe cleaner’ bit is shorter than the hose

I disconnect the hose from the bladder end then past the ‘pipe cleaner’ through both ends. Clean with soapy water, rinse, put in disinfectant fluid, rinse and then hang up to dry. The drying bit is important because most airbourne mould (black stuff) thrive in damp, glucose rich (your sports drink) environments. Repeat the procedure for the bladder, bite valve and tap.
    When all dry then reassemble.
It did occur to me, you could cut the tube to the same length as the ‘pipe cleaner’!

they shoot frozen chickens into jet engines to test them, strange but true. [\quote]

I think the story (urban myth) went along the lines of that they test the cockpit window with dead chickens fired from a cannon. A test center ran out of chickens and sent someone down to purchase more. They came back and recommenced testing, only to find the chickens going straight through the window. On examination the chickens had not been defrosted first. No as bad as the test, where they loaded the cannon with a chicken, went for lunch, fired the cannon after lunch, only to find the cockpit window covered in blood, fur and guts. The theory was the a cat had climbed into the cannon was eating the chicken when… 😳

Cheers for the Garmin tracklogs, too – I meant to take mine but forgot. Not sure I believe the claimed 827 Calories burned – maybe in 25C it would be!

This due to the 418m (1300 ft) of climbing done, and in cold weather you burn extra calories just keeping warm. Also the 418m of climbing was done by a 81kG male on a 25kG machine using roughly 270 watts Ref http://www.analyticcycling.com. 🙂
