I would go for the Meiser Accu gauge 0- 30 or 0- 60 psi is it cheap and reliable. I ordered mine direct from Meiser using Pay Pal. Excellent service from the company and reliable analogue device.

Ask the ancient Greeks what colour the sky is, they would have said bronze, they had no word for blue. So it depends on your culture and language.
I was ask at interview for a student post ‘Do yoy mind be told off by women?’ It was a all women department, I replied ‘My Mother does it all the time’ I got the post

Dibbs Your employer shoud be providing ear protection to prevent any noise damage. You should be having annual hearing tests at a minimum

Google ‘active noise cancelling ear muffs’

TurnerGuy, its your middle ear that the Eustachian tube (ET)ventilates via its opening at the back of the throat. Try using an Otovent ballon to inflate your ET as this safer than pinch and blow, a Valsalva manoeuver,as this could lead to a perforated eardrum.
    Otovent ballon

UrbanHiker, this could be involuntary spasms of your tensor tympani muscle, one of the smallest muscle in the body. This pulls on the bones in your middle ear, a defense against loud sounds, causing the eardrum to move, the crackle wooshing noise you hear.

Tinnitus- the hallucination of soundis a very distressing condition affecting 7% of the population, more prevelentif you have a hearing loss. If you have tinnitus in one definitly have a hospital appointment to rule out an acoustic neuroma, technically a vestubular schwannoma.
Relaxation techniques and modified cognative behaviour therapy has good results.
Keeping the amount of caffine, alchol and a low salt diet have been shown to help
The British Tinnitus Assoc tinnitus.org.uk have good resourses and local self help groups
Keeping the amount of noise exposure to a minimum less than 70db, slightly louder than talking, during the day will lessen the aggreivation of the condition.
Using noise cancellation ear defenders are the best, followed by musician ear plugs. These contain sintered filters that less the force of the sound, therefore, work best with impulse sounds like shotguns and drumming.
    Hope this of help

    Try using decongestant next time.
It could be middle ear rather than inner ear, the sound only occured under exertion, this would increase your blood pressure and heart rate. It sound if it stopped after the exertion, any sound caused by your inner ear would last slightly longer.

Lose weight and get your collar size to under 40cm. Chronic snoring can be a sign of sleep apnea.
This conditions is one of the biggest causes of car accidents in the morning and mid afternoon due to day time somnolence.
UPPP (Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty), the sculpuring of the back of the throat with a laser/ scapel has some benifit, but as one poster said you smell your own flesh and it hurts.
Continous positive airway pressure (CPAP)therapy is the biggest help but you do have to wear a mask.

Remember there is no bike shop in Stanley so take as many spares out with you as possible, tyres spokes gear cables and brake pads. If you go to the garmin website here
    http://connect.garmin.com/feed/rss/activities?feedname=Garmin%20Connect%20-%20gephaudio&owner=gephaudio
there is a couple of rides posted.
Also go tp JSEOD, Hillside Camp, at Stanley to get the latest minefield map, although they are in the process of clearing some of them.

Having been this year I would use a decent weatherproof camera, as you know weather can be a tad unpredictable and wind speeds atrocious, hit 40 knots in Feb!
Are you going air bridge or Lan Chile?

Un verified 56 mph down into Eastbourne, past the Eastbourne Downs Golf Club on the A259

Try using wwww.mapmyride.com as I have used this for loading the route for the Southdowns way, also if your are planning to go abroad it is also useful. Does the unit have cadence and heart rate functions?
