As a bodge, strip a choccy block electrical joiner, then use the metal contact strip, may take a bit of filing, but I reckon it would work

Just hi jacking your thred, I have a shed app 11×7,there’s about 300mm between the joist so a convenient space for those leD light panels, would two 600 x 309 be too much? Also what white? Warm white? Or would that be too white?

I’ve been working on my toolbox this week too, (though I don’t know how to upload pics),I started with a dewalt tstak tote, I bought two washing machine baskets from eBay (fiver each), they fit across the tote, one each end, bolted in place, they leave a gap approx 35mm wide down one side, so I planed a piece of softwood to fit, drilled holes every 40mm ish and they hold my screwdrivers, files etc.
That leaves me with 10 small baskets to hold my other tools, and a space in the middle for hammers etc
I must point out that I will be using it as a general diy box not a bike tool specific one, but it could easily be used for the latter, cost about £30 in total by the way
I have tried these technicians boxes and bags, but they are never quite right, the beauty of a tote, you can grab/replace tools easily, but they can get wet/stolen if left in the open, and a plain tote is a pain , cos the tool you want is always at the bottom

I built one from scratch using tanalised 3×2 for the frame, and clad it in 300mm wide plastic shiplap type boards, sterling board pent roof, felted not epdm (yet)
I’m no chippy but was quite easy with a chop saw, screwed togethar using hex head screws, I made the door using some tanalised t and g, the beauty of using 3×2 means I could insulate it quite easily and clad with ply or plasterboard, it’s approx 11×7, think it cost me a grand (ish)

I have a lot of treks over the years, admittedly the last ones I had were 2018, I found the bb very very low, but they may have improved that now….one thing to mention, the rear suspension set up is mega plush!

Here’s my thoughts, put the door where it best suits you, ie nearer to paths entrances etc (if security allows) that way bikes can be wheeled in/out easily.i found it best to have the door in the middle of the end wall, my shed is approx 11’ x7’,I have a 600mm worktop running up one side, that allows space on the opposite side for two bikes and shelves above, in fairness this was my second shed in the same space, I knew what worked for me the first time round, so it was designed around that.i have 200mm wide shelves above my bikes, and they hold paint, bike spares etc.
I don’t have masses of room to work on y bikes, but it’s sufficient, it all depends on how much your going to store and it’s size, and if you intend tinkering in it

I’d go large, I’m 5’9 and bought mine off a lady actually, she was about my height too, but of course it’s down to personal preference really, I like the long top tube that the large gives, some wont

Err,ahem,…..I’ve just built up a boost frameset and used my old crankset (pre boost) , I only realised a week ago that boost cranks were available, result, chain line isn’t noticeably bad, and never dropped a chain, I’d say, give it a go, but others on here won’t…..

I’m not familiar with that particular model, but I have used ciliary blue on numerous occasions to reglaze oakley chamfers, and I find them an excellent company to deal with

Spin the speaker slightly, and drill new holes in the doorframe, then use self tappers, or, drill the metal edge of the speakers themselves, straight through the metal door lining, then use self tappers?

I’m about 5’9″ 30″ inside leg, but I like longer top tubes, although I’ve owned 2 medium trances, I feel just at home on a large.
wider bars, long/short stem, saddle position etc all make a difference, I’d go for a large next time personally, but it’s a personal choice really

Hi there, I’ve got a fairly cheap set up
Onkyo home cinema amp/speaker package , eBay £125
    Optima hd projector eBay £150
    Electric cscreen £70
    Panansonic bluray recorder eBay £50
I live in a bungalow and already had a wall mounted Tv, I had a void behind the Tv, so fed the cables for the projector up through the void and into the loft to the projector,I would recommend fitting a Tv behind the screen, as you won’t want to use the projector all the time,so I bought a hd splitter and feed the Tv,and the projector at the same time, I just turn whichever one I’m using on,
One thing, don’t fit large dangly ceiling lights!!

I’ve been, a bit home from home in many respects, but the important thing is the amazing weather!! Plenty to look at, good walks, your children will live in the pool! I would def go again, Mijas is worth a visit, my mates just returned from a holiday there and it was nudging 40 degrees, have a good one!

Don’t get me wrong, I love the convenience of sonos, I have version 1 5s by the way,but find they lack the depth of ‘proper’ speakers, I could buy a connect, but think they are ridiculously over priced

Scotroutes has summed it up, my climbing gear is perfect at 34f x 36r, but I will have a 42r so can afford to have a larger chainring to compensate, but also gaining a better downhill gear

Just put some easton xr650 on mine, £125 from rose bikes, went up tubeless no problem, if yours is standard 9mm back end, you will need a conversion kit, mine was £16 and the axle was another £25 I think, (that was to fit a 142×12 rear wheel……

I’ve got the 2014 trance 2,I really like riding it, have had every trek/Specialized 26er, and needed a change!!
Admittedly the only original bits on mine are the frame and forks, but that’s down to personal taste and budget, there was a secondhand one on pink bike for under a grand last week, I’m about 5’9 and mines a medium, and I’m in the middle of building a 650b hardtail too, cheers
