Go back tell them how much you would pay and leave your number then walk. If a deal can be done at that price they should call you. Especially after a slow weekend when sales figures are not looking good.

or another option would be to think if you are going to need any exras – towbar, roof bars etc. They may be able to do a deal based on including these rather than cash off the price.

If you want remote Kinloch Castle, Rum is the answer. However, the accommodation is a bit ropey and you will struggle with day trips and white water rafting – loads of biking potential though.

Nae Limits[/url] between Dunkeld and Pitlochry is good for rafting on the Tay.

Another decent castle alternative would be Saddell Castle on the Mull of Kintyre.

Sorry this lot isn’t very joined up.

Possibly, but its unlikely to be the private companies first priority.

Depends on the opportunity costs. How much money is there in timber production?
Oh and FC have done such a great job at Carron Valley too!

…or alternatively, putting some of these forests into the hands of commercial operators may result in a more diverse range of forest trails developed on the back of properly researched requirements.

and yes of course there may be charges associated with using them, but if the trails are good enough….

Short selling – A offers to sell B some shares of company X at a set rate some time in the future. A makes money buy buying the shares at a lower price between when the deal was arranged and when the shares need to be sold to B.

Trouble starts when the shares don’t fall in price sufficiently for A to buy the shares at a low enough price to make a profit and complete the deal. When this happens, there may be benefit in imagineering information about company X which could reduce its value (share price).

Market makers have an obligation to keep the markets fluid by guaranteeing the availability of certain amounts of some shares.

At least that’s my understanding of it…..

The Naked Trader is a reasonable source of information to get you started or put you off for life!

Unless of course they’re down on their quotas of employees who are a differently abled, differently sexed, person of colour in which case you won’t.

That’s what the sift is for.

Normal rules apply. Learn as much about the role/department as you can before the interview. Be yourself, relax, answer the questions honestly and be polite.

If you tick the boxes and you are the best of the interviewees you will get the job. If you don’t / aren’t, you wont.

    Good luck.

I’ve only been once, but I’m sort of with Hora on this. Lots of lovely things to see and do, but the whole city doesn’t seem to equal to the sum of its parts.

On the whole, I prefer the Italian cities I’ve visited (Rome, Milan & Florence) and Paris (and London, come to think of it), but I’d really like to go to Madrid.

I’ve had this. I use mapsource to download the track and save as a GPX and then import it into MM. You could do the same with SportsTracks or GPS Utility.

IIRC its a MM version thing – a later version will probably fix it. Oh and I can get routes to upload from MM to the edge without a problem – very weird!

Make sure the firewall function on your router is switched on.
Apple do recommend using antivirus software now, but I haven’t bothered.
There is a slightly increased risk (theoretically at least) to any PC users you may share files with if their security isn’t up to scratch, because you wont be checking for viruses before passing them on.

I use the sleeper quite a bit for work. Its pretty good, but I wouldn’t plan a big day on the bike after a journey on one because I don’t sleep that well on it. If you do go for it, try and get reservations in the middle of the carriage rather than over a bogie. And have a word with the driver about shunting gently at Carstairs before you get on ;-)

If you could afford the time, I’d book some advance 1st class return tickets on the Highland Chieftain up to Inverness and then travel across to Mallaig from their – would prolly add a couple of days to the trip though.

Isn’t the consensus that a single pivot design (Heckler, Orange 5 etc) is more suited to the heavier rider. But TBH I’m not sure you qualify as a heavier rider. Spesh Pitch Pros are supposed to be the bargain of the century – apprently.
