Yep I work for OPA, the trail thing is a bit tough a lot of it is subject to weather. We should be open as normal, but it will be flipping heaving on the 27th! I'll mention trying to get updates up faster.

We are shut on the 25th and on the Monday as normal.

Forest ops are Tillhill's bag, was away yesterday and have been off today. Because things change so quickly with harvesting etc the only way I find some stuff out is by actually going out for a ride!

Like I say complain about stuff like that through the Coed Llandegla website.

But I can only apologise for the lack of hot food, the person left with the responibility for it had a dose of CBA and a lack of initiative. Soup, burgers, hot dogs and beans as well as cheese (for cheese on toast) left to use for hot options. Too much fat comes off the bacon and sets the fire alarms off as I found on Tues.

Oh and as for trail closures and parking charges, rant at Tillhill the forest owners.

My best mate (best man at my wedding too) killed himself last year. Knew he had some personal and business problems, had invited him to stay for a few days on the Weds night and he seemed up for it (we were going to go for a few beers and put the world to rights) the on Friday his gf called me to say he'd killed himself. Lots of backround to it thats a bit long winded, suffice to say I think the suspicion his gf and business partner was playing around was the tipping point 😥
Still ask myself if there was something I could have done differently, tears me up when I think about it.
