This is my Alpine built up at 31 pounds with no compromises on suspension. Careful weight saving across all components has got me to here.

Can be ridden all day and is mega for my yearly Alps trip…..

Only just have enough space for the Alpine & the road bike. For this years Mountain Mayhem we just hired good 29’s from Rutland and did pretty well. Something about throwing a bike around that isn’t yours!

Just getting the last few bits through for the Alpine rebuild after the alps.

I got what you meant mate! You did a cracking job of explaining! I think you could be right though….. 18″ with a 50mm Thomson for all duties……

At the moment I have been running a 70mm Easton Haven stem in the UK and a 50mm stem for the Alps. I only run this bike now. Ride it everywhere. Peaks, Scotland, Lakes etc…..

Wish they made a 17″ like the five……. Lol
