I think that if they considered last year too boring then they are clearly in need of a good whipping.
It came down to the last corner of the last race, you couldnt get closer than that. More overtaking would be great & the new regs MAY do that.

If they want the person with the most wins to win the championship … which is fair enough …then stretch the points.
20 for first, 12 for second, 8 for third 5 for fourth, 3 for fifth & 1 for sixth. That way it biases the system in a constructive way & I will understand what is going on & why the guy with 6 firsts & 11 crashes beat the guy with 5 wins & 12 second places.

Its getting worse.
I help out at a local scout troop & a couple of weeks ago we walked about 20 of them along a canal (with no locks) for about 3 1/2 miles.
These are healthyish normal kids, some of them were definately slowing at the end of it. Most have never done anything like it before (well done parents … NOT). They were told to bring a snack & water, not really sure why they needed a snack, I managed it without one but it was not my decision, one of them had a bag of crisps & a pack of easter eggs.

None of them look fat or overweight just got very little fitness.

Crap really.

I was quite disappointed to see that Tomcats were retired a year or so ago as well … Top Gun is now officially out of date

I remember sitting in the garden on the Sunday after Farnborough Airshow one year watching an SR 71 heading home, it was at an angle of about 60% & just kept climbing until it disappeared. Awesome 🙂

Generally monster / jobsite / planetrecruit work pretty well. I do find that at the higher end your best bet is probably contacts you have & putting the word out with people who can recommend you.

I have nowt suitable at the mo, I do get them from time to time & happy to have a chat though.

Interesting though. I enjoyed Rough Ride as a book & I do read Kimmages interviews in the Sunday Times, I would like to KNOW that Armstrong was clean. Having read his Armstrongs book as well I decided that he was very admirable but I didnt like him much, I don’t suppose he cares much for me either :-).

No doubt it will rumble on for a while …. I must make sure I read Kimmages coverage of the race & press conference to see what he says in the cold light of day.

I have a mate doing this at the moment, he is a natural cynic but thought it would be worth a shot. He says its very good. The councillor has been very supportive of them both.

From what I hear it is infinately better than what could happen if you dont go.
