Oh yeh my other problem is that I was bought a kit with 6 different types of chillies, all different heats etc & I planted them all carefully labelled etc, however they didnt appear to work so I took them out of the pots & put the compost in a bigger pot… which is when I noticed 6 plants growing, so now I have no idea which ones are which … should be fun finding out 🙂

I have killed a number, a couple of links :-

I found when very small that covering them in clingfilm to increase the humidity worked best. I have 6 all grown from seed but none big enough to produce yet … next year I hope 🙂

Yup, that was me 🙂 When the forum changed I decided there was no point in not being me … but you were already there 🙂

PS I got the webstuff going but not with the original provider. Thanks for your help on that.

PS Swinley Forest is close by (somewhere there is a topic about a ride there this Sunday), also Caesers Camp between Fleet & Farnham

Go there & go now 🙂

There was a 12 hour race & is still a really nice 8 mile course there … you have to follow tyre tracks as the tape has gone.

The military does use it but I have never been turned back by them … I have turned back on my own realising that there was a machine gun pointing at me on some exercise or another … but that was me being a wimp, they were happy for me to ride past the ambush

Does he do it if you are not there?

My 7 year old howls if ever I tell him off … shouting or just sounded exasperated but does not appear to do it if I am not there. So it could be for your benefit rather than anything else

Me too on the Integrale, the amount of time I have spent dreaming of having one of those .. oh well, sometime maybe.

I missed the revival this year, last year was great though

The scooby was just a stock early model turbo one. The caterham was a VX 2.ltr …. pushing about 225 bhp which felt pretty quick in a 600kg car & when you could put your hand flat on the road while sitting in the drivers seta if you had wanted …. in theory just under 4.0 secs for 0-60 put I never abused it that much.

Oddly all the local saxo's never bothered to try to overtake from the traffic lights when I was in the suburu but they all thought they would be faster away than the caterham …. they never were 🙂

there were two of them … the (first) reason they turned into a passat est is bouncing on the driving seat of the caterham

We replaced the misses little hatchback with a Scenic … I know what everybody says but honestly we have had no issues & it is brilliant for families, little cubbyholes & draws everywhere, a second rear view mirror so you can see the kids in the back etc etc .. we have taken it down through france for skiing trips as well & no dramas

There appears to be a further communication from the FIA today about engines basically saying that no more engine development is allowed.

I had heard that the Merc engine was percieved to be the best & Renaults towards the back … they were hoping that they would be allowed additional development to get them back to a level playing field.
This new press release may well mean that the Renault engine does not have as much value …. a secondary kicking maybe

Belle Mare Plage, I honeymooned there 🙂 very nice too … watersports; if your kids want to sail, canoe, snorkle, dive etc etc then it should be part of the package, just go & ask an instructor & they will rig the boats for you, excellent, I have happy memories of spendin time in a laser head out to reef, turn around & run/surf in, repeat until board & then head in for a beer.

I guess my feelings are that compaired to the McLaren fine they got away lightly but at least they & their engines should stay in F1 which is a good thing, so I can live with the punishment that Renault got.

Flav? I suspect the fact it has all come out now has more to do with his role in FOTA & his aspirations to put one over on Max & Bernie than any role he had to play in it… but it seems the punishment is fair

Pat Symons; I am disappointed about his role in this, (not that I know anything about any of them other than watching it on tv for years) he always came across well & knowledgeable .. I suspect that he was probably they main architect of this so should be sanctioned. 5 Years out of F1 probably means we will not see him again, I very much doubt he has as much as a financial fallback as Flav or NPjnr so it will probably be hit hardest.

NPjnr; I cant see that he was going to make it in F1 anyway & he can run back to Dad who can afford to give him a racing team or allow him to live life as he wishes …

Lucky that Renault didnt use the disc of McLaren Data (McData :-)) they had then isnt it …. otherwise this would be twice.

I wonder what the voluntary contribution to safety from Renault was … it still looks as though they got away lightly …obviously the main plan was to stop Flav making anything out of motorsport in anyway … Nelson Piquet Jnr got away far too lightly as well … but who will hire him now (other than his Dad of course)

Actually the death penalty for parallel parking should be brought in very early on.

I have always thought it should be in place for parking on double yellows, that would stop the ignorant s*ds from parking outside McD's etc & make them walk as well as making it easier for everybody else in the world who is less important than them
