The Foresters between Farnborough / Aldershot / Fleet, a bit pricy but always had good food there.

ivantate; not a problem the government says that no harm will come to you being out in the dust however other areas of internet advice say you should limit external exercise due to nasty silica dust that gets in your lungs …

so you may not want to be out on your bike anyway. Enjoy Italy

I find green tea to work for me… actually whenever I find a mug or two of it are much better than 3-4 pints of water, it must stick better I guess

We stayed here it was about 4 years ago, worked for us with 2 small kids, a bit out of the way but easy enough to get to Padstow or around.

    Nice clean & quiet

Lots of 44 year olds here, I am another, am just wondering if I should get stressed about being 50 in the near future but dont think I can be bothered.

I think physically I was at my best at 30ish, so am a bit peeved that I am heavier & not as fast as I was, I also seem to take longer to get over knocks & niggles…. but the flip side is that I am still doing all the things that I was at 30 with a like minded bunch of people & enjoying myself at least as much…. I cant take as much beer so relatively its cheeper having a night in the pub 🙂

I'm with Ziggy on this, I am almost tempted to go into the chemists in question to get some condoms & say its my religious belief that I have to wear condoms & they are discriminating against me… total madness, one rule for one etc etc.

I have never read the Daily Mail but I think I may start if this constant duality persists….

Stop persecuting the majority for the lunatic fringe!

My channels came back for a bit & went again.

I tried looking on the digital switch over info & I should be fine, even STW couldnt give me a definative answer, so in the end I went with the cable & digibox – at least there are some fairly decent deals out there

Similar; after a very busy weekend I got in my car & reversed it out of the garage leaving the drivers door wide open… the central pillar folded it back against the front wing… I did feel a ****

Yes & no, I find myself more intune with some of Captain Flashes view than yours for instance, however I have never read the mail, dont hold with the BNP & agree with you on dags.

So no flaming from me but probably am pretty much Middle England (unless its rugby when I become Welsh)

Inspirational, I have really enjoyed it.

I always liked his humour which is a bonus, but the way he stops & interacts with anyone he comes across is really good to watch.

I am stunned that having stopped to hand out icecreams, neck a beer etc he can get his legs going again

I had a mate & he used to go through the yellow pages, find something he wanted to do & apply…. that has always seemed to me the best career advice ever.

Wish I had done that, still maybe I will soon 🙂

If we had done this properly we could have set it up a few months ago & then had one or two teams who may/maynot make the grid…. virtual life does not quite mirror real life yet

I did it, long time ago now, but I did keep my route & put it up here:- Le Jog

Loved it & want to do it again.

We got the good pub guide & found a pub every 35ish miles to provide lunch & dinner, then picked the most scenic route we could.

    Do it, enjoy it 🙂

Ha, the giving birth thing is mad.
With the first my misses was 10 days late so taken in to be induced… I was sent home at 22.00 & told it wouldn't be that night … a couple of stellas & a kebab & a bit of tv, went to bed about 01.00 … 02.00 I get a call saying come in but no rush, hahahaha, like I wouldnt rush, anyway I got to the hospital very quickly to be rushed upstairs & told to hurry as the baby was being born. I looked down as I passed … it took ages to get over the trauma of that, I couldnt look her in the ahem "eye" for months after & he was born at 02.20.

The second was close to millies description, "no dear I am sure you are fine, only a couple of contractions so far but as we are quiet we will just check you over…..GET HER INTO THE DELIVERY ROOM NOW!" I think that was about 30 mins from arriving at the hospital to born & about 2 hours from first contraction…

My advice is dont go too far away.

RNLI, mainly because a couple of very attracive girls asked me if I would. Just to show I'm not that shallow I explained it to the wife (who turned up mid conversation) that as we spend a fair amount of time at the seaside the kids may benefit at some point before they learnt common sense.

My father was the first to benefit, aged 70 he thought it would be smart to take his dingy out without fixing the mast first – looks like common sense takes a while to learn.

As a general response, the older I get the more tempted I am to donate, mainly because the number of genetic illnesses in the family become more apparent…. although Help for Heros gets some too

Agreed it would be rude not to if asked.

I think you get issues if both are totally shaved though with friction issues…. now where's the lube (or is that a different topic?)
