I have one as a Christmas wish too.. I wasnt worried about the 3g bit but am intrigued as an emergency net surf device. Can you get on line email through it?

How do the pdf’s of STW work on it?

I am also a bath reader – mainly because there is a nasty whining noise from the misses side of the bed if I have my bedside light on reading late. Can you see it in the dark or is the light attachment good & unobtrusive?

Webber gets my vote too, seems like a decent enough guy & it will almost certainly be his only chance. Jenson got his last year. The other three will be in positions to win for the next 10 years.

It would be nice to go into the final race with 3 or 4 drivers (sorry Jenson) all with a good chance of winning the championship

It has been a great year, bits of everything lets hope it has a great end.

Oh & the last bit of the lap is all about power & f-ducts 🙂

am thinking that they should have tried the gorrick 12:12 course at Minley – which is just about part of Yateley Woods (or at least is kind of in circle 3) – a large portion of which is being turned into a gravel pit

Along similar lines, there’s a guy at work, must be in his 30s who says V instead of TH. It drives me up the Ve bloody wall!

    There fixed it for you

Victoria and Alfred shopping centre is massive and had lots of cafe’s eateries by it so you can sit and watch the harbour while indulging gently with street theatre etc around you. Good for an afternoon.

We were staying in Simonstown and hired a car to follow false bay round, then Stellenbosch & stayed here in Franshoek. Then onto Cape Town for a couple of days the dockside area was cool. Haut Bay is lovely for lunch too & I did like the “beware of the cobras” sign at Cape Point.. as per my posting the drive along the Atlantic Coast is beautiful

Agree on only HP not brown sauce … the dealth penalty is not severe enough for pulling the swap trick

Love marmite too… makes not note to go to dinner with mrs toast, I can tell it just wouldn’t work.

Tobasco – brilliant and can be used as an ingredient or a sauce.

Levi Roots Reggae Sauce is also awesome… I suspect it would be brilliant on a cheddar cheese (with raw onion and MAYO) sarnie – must try that later

Shame there is no biking could you borrow a road bike. The road from Cape Town to Cape Point and back to Simonstown (via Boulders naturally) would be fantastic – can be done in a car with other half too.

Stellenbosh? Dellheim vineyard is one of the nicest places I have been & does great ostrich curry.

Bushwacked – i’m with you little sods are getting on my carpets somehow & short of waiting until 03.00 to pick up any I can find there seems little way of getting ride of them.

A trail of salt on floorboards or tiles but slimed slug is very difficult to get out of a carpet

There used to be some brilliant skiing videos (at least I remember them as such but I was normally drunk when in resort) where a pro skiier was out with his huskey & it went off mad stuff.

So take a video camera with you 🙂

Sella Ronda, beautiful scenery, a variety if different resorts so you can pick one that suits your nightlife expectations, I am pretty sure they have snow canons all the way round so a good base for the real stuff

Agree with most of the above, his way of bimbling into a question that they cannot believe he has asked & then him shutting up and letting them dig themselves a large hole is brilliant.

Thoroughly enjoyed the program last night.

I remember as a kid I had a Jolly Green Giant (like the sea dragon not the yellow fella who advertises corn), I seem to remember using it to ferry small soldiers to ambush the hornby train as it passed under my bed 🙂

Most models came ot a fiery end when I discovered filling them with matches & caps an setting fire to them… The Graf Spee was certainly one.

    something like this

Don’t get too carried away though it stops the house breathing so you don’t want to paint the whole house in it

    Gee-Jay

The age of your house may make a difference. Is it solid or cavity wall?

Bricks can become (more) pourous as time goes by. You can get a silicon sealant to paint on which may help if its solid wall. If its cavity then there may well be something bridging the cavity . not sure how you get that out easily

I have a Hurricane at home to build. Problem is trying to get the kids (7 & 9) to want to they appear to prefer the Wii … re-education is in order.

    Tonight is Hurricane night!

All these naturally-aspirated Caterham/Elise/VTEC things are fine and dandy, but there’s nothing quite like the acceleration you get from having a huge turbo bolted on to your engine. And the sound, given the engine’s about 18″ behind you? It’s brutal.

Not quite so sure about this. I had a caterham for 5 years & with 225 bhp in 550kgs it gave you the same shove as a turbo for more of the rev range ie faster for longer, I had an imprezza at the same time and it had nowhere near the same levels of acceleration. The scooby was faster day to day though the 7 was so low you couldn’t see over brows on hills that you wouldn’t even notice in a normal car.

Prior to the Imprezza I had an MR2 (not turbo) & that was horrible, if it decided to let go at the back – which it did occasionally it was very hard to catch.

If track days go for a caterham by all means but it is difficult to use all the performance on the road – mind you it was a laugh at full throttle and did have flames coming out of the side exhaust when you came off the power, which was great in the dark.

Enough of the willy waving (from me anyway) now I have a passat estate and enjoy cars from a distance, maybe when the kids have left home I can go back to something exciting.

We got a freeze them yourself kit from the local supermarket – made by scholl I think.

There are 10 “shots” in it so you could do it a bit more often

Speaking as an IT Recruiter, by all means tell them you have other interviews going on it means they know you are of interest to others. Its up to you if you tell them the other client but its none of their business so personally I wouldn’t.

No reason why it should cause issues with the first company, they know that if they do not submit your cv to their client somebody else may, they cannot take the risk of not sending your cv.

    Good luck
