I’m in for the 100. Curious to see what tracks they use. The map looks like it’ll be a combination of Golfie and Inners

If wearing under baggies, nukeproof ones are good. 3 pockets on the back and one on each leg.

I’ve got e4s on one bike and v4s on the other. Whilst the v4s are more powerful, I’ve found them to be a pain in terms of maintenance. The pistons regularly stick and requiring re-lubricating. My hypothesis is that the wider slot for a vented rotor means they draw a lot of dirt in when using a standard rotor. The wider slot also has an effect on the lever throw – if you like a short throw it can be hard to achieve.

I’ve found the E4s to be much better with regards to both of the above and have never felt that they lacked power. If I was to buy again I’d buy E4s, unless I planned to run the vented rotor. I’m 97kg on a steel enduro bike, so there is plenty of me to stop.

If it’s just for Zwift/indoor riding this will probably do it.

As far as I can tell the magnet is the same kind that you would use on one of those car dashboard mounts. These can be slipped between the case and the phone so no need to stick anything to the phone.

I raced at FOD yesterday. Great fun racing in the slop!

My S2 was a calamity, had a minor off at the top and couldn’t pull it back together for the rest of the stage. Apart from that though I was really happy with how I rode. Managed to get 19th/48 in senior, which is probably my best result in terms of % beat to date.

Definitely got a way to go this year, I very quickly realized my fitness wasn’t where it needs to be after the bus stop sprint on S1.

Next up for me is Southern Enduro at QECP

I’m 100kg+. So I sit pretty firmly in the Clydesdale category and have been running flow mk3 rims on my 29″ enduro bike for the last 18 months. I’m typically pretty tough on wheels.

They seem to be pretty strong and are still running dead true. But I have started to notice the aforementioned cracks around the spoke holes recently – they are present on the front and the back. I’m not sure whether the shop used nipple washers when they were built up though.. YMMV.

I struggled on a Stans flow with a DHR 2 WT. I got there eventually with some perseverance. I found that holding the bead in place with 2 levers at either end helped.

… not looking forward to needing to replace a tire.

If you can’t, exposure do a go pro 3 prong interface mount. So could use one of those with stick on go pro mount.

You can get some pretty good builds in both of those for sub 2.5k. No finance, but you could use a 0% offer on a credit card
