Thanks for sharing the vid. It reminds of the trails I used to ride in the woods behind our house when I was a kid.

It shows how much the sports has changed, those trails wouldn’t even be a “blue” by todays trail centre standards. But I’d still like to ride them.

Ended up with a Scott Apache. Changed the forks for a pair of RST281 added V-brakes. I loved that bike and it had a hard life.

Another +1 for the Bolle Contours. Really good, stay in place better than my oakleys. They don’t look like safety glasses.

It was good but the last series at the wedding was a bit of a let down.

My road bike and mtb are both almost as they came from the shop (tyres changed). I’ve been happy with both and would only upgrade when I break stuff.

Both bikes can do way more than my limited ability and fitness needs.

BG wouldn’t service our boiler because it was the wrong make. Told us they would fit a new boiler so we could have their service plan. They didn’t seem to understand that I wasn’t going to replace a working boiler just to get them to service it. We have used a local guy for the last couple of years who has been great.

We stayed here last summer with some friends and a 1 year old.

Not got a pub nearby but there is a great beach a short walk away. Loads to do in the area and about a 15/20 min drive to Holy Island.

This has inspired me to go back to the village where I grew up and see if the trails through the woods are still there.

Thanks that’s great. I’m just looking for a stop on the way, I’ve got a full week of riding in North Wales but though a fun ride on the way would be a good way to start.
