What size fork are you running your intense at? If it's 140mm, why not stick a 160mm on there and slacken it?

I spent a good 100km on one – well sorted bike, the only bike I've enjoyed as much, maybe more than my Five. Would still pick a five for the extra long travel versatility, but by god the ST4 was quick and fun!

Garmin etrex and accessories, STW sub in a box and an Orange Bikes tee…

So far – seeing rest of family later… 😀

Oh, and agree, you will get a couple of jurors who are painfully stupid.

I was doing a death inquest of a lifer who committed suicide. His original crime was murder. This one girl was so focused on how she felt he deffo "did it".

Several times we explained to her that he was sentenced years ago by another jury – of course he did it. She couldn't get her head around that we were supposed to be establishing the cause of death and contributing factors. In the end she kind of sulked a bit and then started moaning about why we couldn't just say what we need to say and go home…

    Massive facepalm.

Bad news if you're self employed.

I was at the time, there's a cap on expenses and in my case, it was waaaaay short.

I do really rate Rosberg, I just don't think he's got an easy season by any means.

I think Rosberg will be under a lot of pressure actually. He's proved he can be fast, exceptionally so. But then so did Kovalinen, who at times could show Lewis a very clean pair of heals when it all came together.

But in a top car, he couldn't deliver consistently and now he's at Lotus with a lot to prove.

Rosberg will get away with being beaten by Schey but if he's not right in there behind him, he'll go the same way.

People keep going on about how much Sony made (which isn't the point). But can I point out that even if Sony saw 40p from every download – we're still looking at just over £200,000 contributing to an annual revenue of £2.8 billion.

Relatively speaking, it's hardly lining what are some seriously stretched pockets.

Massive props to Bike Bristol and totally deserved. They're not big by any means and they get and deserve most of my bike expenditure.

I find you sometimes have to tell clients that they're not the only ones you have to w**k for and sometimes they have to wait their turn…

I'm always interested in what it's like where other people are w**king, any one up for doing a w**k swap so we can learn more about how each of us w**ks on a day-to-day basis?

Windsurfing before the modern wide style boards was pretty brutal. Quite often a couple of seasons learning before you were even thinking about plaining, which is when it got good.

Good god, I'm about to take the tone of this thread down a notch or two…

My dads first car after giving up bikes because I was born:

When that inevitably rusted away, then came the hateful Corolla…

When that inevitably rusted away (I used to get told off for picking chunks of the bonnet off), my dad went back to good old leyland with a Rover 400 (which one day I would inherit as my first car)…

There was one of those bubble shaped Rover 200s, a VW Caddy (the current one) and eventually a Seat Altea so it got better eventually.

Us gents are terrible for trying to fix things and a bit quick to try as well. Oh, DO NOT send the email ffs.

I'd personally talk through points 1-7 with your wife, and talk about getting a new job. But don't be bossy about it, just keep calm about the whole thing. She probably knows she should, but quite often the thought of trying to get a new job is often more stressful than putting up with the one you've got.

All 4 afan trails in one day.

Nice ride that! I admittedly did July instead of Skyline – don't leave skyline till last as you will turn right and do July when the time comes lol

I'd say, Skyline, W2 outbound (from whites), Penhydd, W2 inbound (from the wall).

I guess it's just plateauing and not upping your game enough to break through to the next level…

With bikes, finding someone faster to ride with helps. Sometimes you just need being put through the mincer a bit 😀

Yeah, easy to condemn the bloke for going too far but hard to know how you'd react in reality.

My wife was held up at knife point a few years back. Considering he got caught and no one got hurt, we're both glad I wasn't there at the time. Not because I'm some hard nut psycho (ho ho, believe me I'm so not), but you never know how you're going to react in that situation. I'd have probably got a good stabbing for my efforts no doubt.

I'm pretty sure the fear and rage was still kicking at high volume when he was dealing out the pain and stopping to question "am I over doing this?" probably doesn't factor.

I'd have been in favour of a suspended sentence myself.

I find this more hilarious to partake in because I find it just highlights how irrelevant the charts are.

Anyone else notice the irony of being told to buy "killing in the name"?

Not really, the song isn't instructing you to kill, it's highlighting police brutality and in particular relating to racism.

"Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses"

Is basically about police turning a blind eye or ignoring crimes of a racial manner – the burning crosses is a Klu Klux Klan reference.

That or it's about being an oppressed 13 year old being made to tidy your room! 😀

I'd wager the STW hate for Charge is down to all those video ads that were running a while back – a lot of moaning about those I remember.

"Urgh, look at all those young, good looking, aspirational and far more talented cyclists than me having far too much fun on those rather good looking bikes"

    Or something like that… 🙂

I find any extra the Hopes cost, I've saved in not having to buy brake pads tbh. And they've literally been maintenance free for 2 years aside from a single pad change. My hope organic pads are totally impervious to the South Wales grit whereas I've happily destroyed Avid and Shimano pads in a single ride.

My Mono Minis are great but the X2s I've tried have been even better.
