Innes you really would be better getting touch with Smudge, my battery is for a specific application so price could be way different for you.

I wouldn’t say I have a high tolerance to caffeine though, I don’t drink a lot of coffee and a night on the vodka/red bull leaves me a gibbering wreck for days after.

I know – I left the house for a nice ride to work this morning then turned back for home after half a mile. Wierd thing was there was no ioce or frost on the car windows so I didn’t even suspect ice. Bollox, bollox, bollox

vdubber67 riding a bike can kill you, we still do it though.

I could do pk-ripper but where’s the fun and ingenuity in that. No wonder Britain is in the mess it’s in ;)

druidh I don’t think so as I would add the caffeine powder when I’m melting the honey and butter together so it would be added into a liquid preety sure that would result in a good mix.

I’ll hav a look at the pro-plus route but it might work out pretty expensive. If I knew the website above was trustworthy then I’d buy from there as its £30 for 100grams which would do 500 bars at 200mg per bar.

Just need to make sure I mix it in properly as I don’t want to end up with a 4g lump in one batch ;)

If I know how much to add then I don’t see why it would be an issue. Research suggest 100mg to 200mg per bar. Why do you think it isn’t a good idea?

myprotein only sell tablets as far as I can see.

I got the Ultimate Pro-Ultralight Repair Stand from Winstanley for £135 a couple of weeks before Christmas. It’s a great stand but it seems to be £170 there now.

‘he was a good man and didn’t deserve this to happen to him’ The ‘he was a good man’ bit is fine but I wouldn’t write the ‘didn’t deserve this to happen to him’ bit. Few people do deserve to have cancer and reading this won’t help the recipients.

How about ‘he was a good man and will be sadly missed by all his friends and colleagues at x’

Nice thought wwaswas but seems a bit ‘Gwyneth Paltrow’ to me, a simple ‘sorry to hear of your sad loss’ works just as well.

I like wood but as others have said it’s not really practical as a kitchen work surface. We stayed at a holiday place last year with wood worktops – looked great from a distance but was covered in stains and never felt clean

We’re changing our kitchen at the moment and are going for stone work surfaces.

Trust me, travelling around Europe is not glamorous or particularly fun

    I know that.

If I was desperate for money I would work weekends but not any more – family/me time is way too precious.

Now i know i’m lucky to have a job that pays well sorry but if you have to work weekends it can’t pay that well.

I can see some guy looking out the window of his hotel room, you know the type – looks a bit sad and lonely. The type that thinks he’s important because he travels to different places with his job and finds any excuse to tell everyone all about it – you know ‘what’s out the window’, ‘lost luggage’, etc. I think you know the type.

Of course I can’t really see him, I just know he’s there.

Bourbons would make my top 5, as would a plain chocolate digestive, plain tunnocks wafer and Fox’s super chunky chocolate chip cookies. I would also have the party ring in there, mmm

custard creams are nice but not top 5

I used to ride there quite often but never found any hidden tracks. Sorry not much help. I’ve had a look on google earth but the images are poor. Thre are some hill tracks around dalsmellington.

Gore fusuon jacket on the top and gore waterproof shorts over lycra bibs and knee warmers. Only wear longs if it’s really cold, like -5ish. Also use full guards but the waterproof shorts are the best thing I’ve bought for this winter.

    Why is mph rubbish?

Anyway I want one for commuting just for the sheer geekiness of it. I’d like one where I can add a message too.

    Brakes might be useful

Its a fixed wheel, doesn’t ‘need’ brakes or so fashion dictates. I kinda like it, I wouldn’t buy it though.

in my experience, there’s better things to be doing I think you mean in your ‘opinion’ rather than ‘experience’.

Why did you even post on this thread, the title is pretty clear isn’t it.

check your mortgage paperwork – it will say in there. But there is no general rule as it depends on what deal you’re on, I can pay up to 10% of the capital without any penalties. But yes you can ask them to take x amount every month from your bank account.

Just as well you’re not doing it then eh Kit. Some of us enjoy riding all kinds off bikes and not just off road. Each to their own.

Did the Bealach Mor last year The Law so you’re in for a good ride on the Beag – weather permitting.

Bosch do make toaster but they are hideously ugly. If you want one that looks good and toasts well the I’d go for a Dualit or a Rowlett – both ‘catering’ style toasters and of a similar price. Depends what your style is though as the seimens stuff looks nice too and you can get a matching kettle.
