Is there a pump external to the boiler that circulates the hot water around the central heating circuit? If so, it may be worth checking if that is working.

Been with Ciclo four times in the past five years, the whole set up from Mark & Jackie being the perfect hosts, the location, Mark’s second to none guiding on brilliant trails imho cannot be bettered.

I don’t know how they do it for the money. :D

    OP:

    Can anybody offer any advice.

Yes, why not talk to the citizens advice bureau/trading standards about your situation & see what they say instead of listening to the misinformation off some of the armchair ‘experts’ on here.

This isn’t a dig at you btw.

EDIT: Just a thought, but why not try contacting the previous keeper listed on the V5 & ask them if they had any similar issues with the car to what your experiencing? If they say they had & that it was traded in because of it, & that the dealer knew about the issues it may help your case.

And 180mph on any sort of public road is idiotic.

True. But on the de-restricted sections of roads on the Isle of Man, is perfectly legal.

A mate used to waffle on about his Audi TT, ‘Vorsprung durch technik’ ‘Quality German engineering’ ‘Built by quality Germans’ etc, etc.

Until one day he was asked to open the bonnet & read the last line on the chassis plate…

    ‘Made In Hungary’

I’ve got a knackered set of 36 FLOAT’s, they need new stanchion assembly, new bushes in the lowers, a service, plus carriage to & from mojo & the cost of that lot was around the £400 mark iirc (this was a few years back). It made more sense to buy a new fork, so I bought some Revelations for £350 from Merlin & left the FLOATS gathering dust in the spare room.

Sell it as it is, scratches ‘n all.

If a buyer whinges at the scratches just point out to them that a) It’s a secondhand car, & b) If they want a scratch free one go & buy a new one.

Your man up here who is signed up to Fred Whitton is going to feel the burn a lot more. ‘The Struggle’ is aptly named. 5.4km, 400m of climbing, 8.2% average, 24% at its steepest!

The Fred Whitton doesn’t go up The Struggle.

I think the best way to do it is you insure the car as the main driver, and then just add your kid on as a named driver.

Fronting it’s called, & highly illegal.

Yep. been out on the road bike tonight. A clockwise loop from home taking in Belthorn, Edgworth, Turton, Bromley X, Egerton, Belmont & Tockholes. 23.5miles.

Saw a group of mtb’ers who had just come off Darwen Moor down Lions Den, gave them a cheery hello as I zipped past. Bet that surprised them, a cheery roadie! Mind you I’m a mtb’er who just happens to have a road bike, not t’other way round. :-)

EDIT: Lights: 2 Smart 1/2 watt led’s on the rear, Exposure Enduro & C & B Seen 1200lumen on the bars. I just switch the C & B seen on when I’m on the unlit roads. Also wear a Proviz riding jacket.

I’ve recently been looking for some new road wheels too, & Ribble are doing the Fulcrum Racing 3’s for £315.95. However, they are selling the Campagnolo Zonda’s at £249.99.

Point being that the Fulcrum’s are made by Campagnolo & the Racing 3 & Zonda I think are one & the same wheel…
