Overall it was Ok.

Couple of things though, struggled to tell what Aneela was saying, her microphone volume was too low in comparison with Ed, who was using the same type of mike.

Speaking of Ed, I thought it was a bit **** the way he threw a lot of the raffle tickets out of the box halfway through drawing the raffle, whilst saying “These haven’t won anything” & his comment along the lines of girls tagging along with their boyfriends on rides didn’t go down at all well with those sat near me…

Thing is, the Lotus Carlton had character, something that is sadly lacking in today’s identikit cars. It needed driving with a lot of respect, 380(ish) bhp, RWD, no ESR,ESP,TC to get you out of trouble when actual skill exceeded perceived skill…

I find it incredible how many cars get irritated when I sit at 70mph on the motorway. I’m still going faster than traffic in the nearside lane (that’s the one on the left), yet many speeding drivers think that it’s acceptable to flash lights at me as if I’m doing something wrong.

Are you a police officer?

If not, leave the road policing to them, if drivers want to go over the speed limit then get out of their way & let them get on with their journey.

Perhaps the constant fit/remove/fit/remove/fit/remove/fit etc etc on different frames has fatigued it??
