Ashley Neal is just bitter that he never made it as a professional footballer unlike his dad, Phil Neal.

Imagine them trying to enforce a smoking ban outside a football ground.

    It won’t happen.

Neko followed the Airtags and ended up on a ‘ahem’ campsite. Neko said there were caravans everywhere and a professional looking operation stripping down stolen cars, vans and bikes. Neko was told in no uncertain terms to leave if he valued his life.

Thieving travellers doing what they do best. Scum.

I wonder if it’s the same one that Wilts Police posted on their X page 3 days ago?

Was disappointed that Woolard didn’t do any ‘Woolarding’ in the report though.

I remember before the law was changed to make the registered keeper responsible for paying the invoice, it was the driver who had to pay.

The problem then (for the parking companies) was that the driver & the registered keeper may not have been the same person & the registered keeper was under no obligation whatsoever to identify the driver.

I used to work at a firm where, amongst other things, I was responsible for looking after the company vehicles, (which were all registered to the company), in respect of making sure that everything was up to date (tax, mot, insurance, serviced on time, etc) & now & again would receive parking company invoices, so all I’d do is return their invoices with a covering letter which told them to resend their invoice to whoever was driving the vehicle at the time…

The o.p. in two separate posts has used the terms ‘fast lane’ and ‘slow lane’

    What are those?

    I use Gorilla brakes, https://gorillabrakes.com/

Plenty of different compounds available, if unsure what to choose give them a ring & speak to Lee, he’ll give great advice.

Hatchbag. I bought one back in 2008 for my Ford C-Max. I had them custom make it to my spec as the ones on their website only showed two versions: rear seats up, or rear seats folded, whereas on my car I’d completely removed all three seats.

Since that car I’ve used it in the second C-Max, Skoda Octavia, a Peugeot estate & am currently using it in my current Astra estate. OK, it’s not an exact fit but it’s not far off, & with 15 years use & abuse, (throwing a muddy mtb in, tip runs etc etc) it’s wearing well with no rips or tears. I specified it with the extra bumper protection flap, protects the paintwork on the rear bumper. Cost? IIRC it was around £110 at the time.

    Money well spent IMHO.

EDIT: Sometimes Hatchbag advertise for people who have cars that they don’t currently list a product for to contact them & they’ll use your car as a pattern to manufacture a boot liner for. They then supply you one FOC.

It’s surprising how the accents differ so much within, say a 10 mile radius in Lancashire.

Blackburn, Bolton, Preston all have distinctive accents of their own.

Burnley (Or Bonleh) as the locals say it, well, that’s just a small, shitty town, with a crap football team.

Just ignore the no cycling signs & if stopped by an authority type just inform them that it’s 2023 & your bike identifies as a horse. Sorted!

The op is probably waiting for the Daily Fail reporter & photographer to arrive.

Stand by for the obligatory sad faces compo picture, plus at least we’ll know the value of the op’s house.

I wonder if we will see other retail/mail order cycle businesses be in difficulties in the near future?

The  following: Leisure Lakes, Merlin, Ribble, Wheelbase, which were all privately owned ( AIUI, correct me if I’m wrong ) have all been bought out within the last 18 months or so. Perhaps the owners of said businesses decided to get out while they can…

@binners & @RustyNissanPrairie There’s a SurRon riding scrote from Accrington way, he has a Instagram page & posts videos, usually of a big group of them at night, riding on road in Accy & off road around Hameldon Hill area, plus a couple of weeks ago up Darwen Moors.

Possibly that lot that you encountered?

This is a timely thread. I have severe osteoarthritis in my right hip.
I was first diagnosed with it back in 2015 at 53 years old & at that time my mobility wasn’t too restricted & pain management was successful until last year.
Over the last 10 months or so, well, It’s been getting worse & I’ve been putting up with the pain & decreased mobility until a couple of months ago, so after a doctors appointment & x rays, once my x ray results were in I was booked in for an appointment with the orthopaedic dept at the hospital last Wednesday. So, after 4 more x rays & a long chat with the consultant I’m scheduled for a total hip replacement. Consent form for the op signed, so I’m just awaiting a date.

Cant see one or is it more outtakes?

TJ, It’s on the BOM TV channel on YouTube, rather than the Bad Obsession Motorsport main channel.

It’s not much, just over 8 minutes.

Unlucky. It may be worth checking the service history if the timing belt has ever been replaced. The recommendation for those engines is 10 years or 140,000km’s (87k miles).

That’s £20 that you’re being conned out of. ‘Road Tax’ doesn’t exist.

    You’re lucky!

I’ve heard the damn thing a lot of times on various radio stations over the past week.

One thing that’s been a constant is that they’ve been playing the version with modified lyrics.

A 15-year old diesel with 150k on the clock that’s spent most of its life doing 5-10 mile trips? At the very least I’d be giving it some beans on your nearest motorway for at least an hour, before it gets expensive.

The OP didn’t say that though. The BMW has been used for longer trips.
