I emailed on one to ask why they had added the extra brace and about
broken ti456's, didn't really get an answer about the brace but was
assured only a handfull had broken!
My take on it all is any frame can break but the ti456 was so well reviewed
that lots of people took an instant dislike to it and any hint of a problem
they jump on the "they all break" bandwagon.
It is the best hardtail frame i have ever owned(lots) and really hope mine
doesn't break for a long time!
Used to wash mine at 30c with grannys soap flakes, after a while stopped beading then soaking through the shoulders and chest quite quickly!
Started using nikwax tech wash and reproofed using nikwax softshell
proofer and its as good as new.
Re worth the money it stands up to rain etc better than any other softshell
that i have ever used so would say so.
Surf-mat the mini is a really good light and definetely bright, i have used a lot of different lights and the beam on this is spot on! it gives a fantastic spread in front of your wheel then throws a great beam down the trail.
Box goes in the bin!
I can give a big thumbs up for the trout mini, fantastic little light!
use mine on the bars but it weighs next to nothing so should be just as
good on the helmet.
A 29" wheel fits nicely in the 26" wheel sized on one carbon fork(440 axel-crown), i found it ended up about the same as a sagged 120mm
suspension fork! only did it to see what it was like and quickly stuck
140mm fox's back on!
Mine does this every now and then, usually strip out the bb give the
bb shell a good clean and reassemble with shimano assembly paste then
no more noise!
I never get the dear thing, handmade in england and usually cheaper than
american, canadian, german alternatives! they are all expensive but orange
price's always seem to be moaned about(by some!).
Also using Squirt at the minute and very happy with it. Equally impressed with Rock and Roll Extreme which i find even cleaner than Squirt and lasts
nearly as long.
timc thats fighting talk! i phoned fishers who have said to return it.
I have the 6mm gap, the low adjustment screw looks as though it is
at the wrong angle in the mech body as it is fowling on the forward inner pivot not allowing the mech to drop far enough down!
Frame has been checked for hanger alignment and also tried two other wheels
all with the same result.
Been using sram for about six years now and never had a problem until as i said above recently!
I went from a Cove Hustler to an St4, tested a Five about a year ago
and wouldn't have swapped it for the Hustler.Tried the St4 and love it!
IMO less is more :-)
